Robert I am so thankful that I found your channel over a year ago. It is a pleasure to watch you and your family grow together. I am thankful that you take the time to enjoy life at its fullest and are always giving thanks for what you have. I have spent so much time with my boys who are now grown and have families of their own, doing some of the same things you do with yours. This make me so happy. It makes me reminisce about times when I went to pond drains with my family on the local farmers retention ponds. I chased fish that seemed gigantic relative to my size. Everything we ate was blessed and appreciated. I love seeing men like yourself carry on similar traditions. Don’t stop, ever.

Rob, I've been watching you for a long time now and you've inspired me to get out of this city life and move back to where I spent my summers as a kid all throughout my teenage years to get back to my roots about an hour south of eerie pennsylvania! I'm gonna miss deer season cause I'm moving at the end of this year but I can't wait to get back to a simpler and more enjoyable life with good people.

My grandma had a pot like that and it was one of her favorite pots that she used on her wood stove. See I am from the Mountains of N.C. Partly raised on a farm in a hollow in Cherokee Co.,N.C. The farm was about a half a mile off the main road between Topton and Andrews, N.C.😊

I have a pot exactly the same as that one. I use it every year to make a large quantity of jams and jellies. Got it from my great grandma. Will never give it away.
