Cast Members of American Chopper in 2023
Subscribe for More!
When American Choppers premiered in 2003, it pioneered a new trend and format that most reality TV shows followed. The show's unique style of mixing human relationships with workplace drama was one of the reasons why it was so successful.
All the action in the show took place at Orange County Choppers, a motorcycle customization shop in southern New York. The theatrics and drama between cast members like Paul Teutul Senior, his son Paul Junior, Rick Petko, Vinnie DiMartino, and Mikey Teutul are why viewers remained glued to the show. Now that American Choppers has bit the dust, where are these cast members in 2023?

People mistakenly think this show was about building cool looking choppers. The show was actually a platform for corporations to purchase two weeks of advertising on a top rated TV show. Their name was constantly mentioned and their logo prominently displayed. Most of the bikes never left the factory as the corporations had no need/use for them. They got a lot more TV time this way than if they had purchased 30 second commercials on national TV. It didn’t matter how well the bikes ran since they were never designed to be taken out on the road.

I watched from the beginning and had it NOT been for Jr. Senior would not have what he USE to have. He couldn't admit it. Saying that Junior did need to be a little more present at times. I do think had they not built the OCC HQ and stayed in a smaller place, they probably would have still been good. Also, Senior over spent way to much, Junior seems to have been better with money.

My neighbor owns the NAPA bike from very early in OCC's TV career. I can speak from personal experience, the show bikes are absolute piles that are NOT meant to be ridden for anything more than that episode's B-roll footage. Horrible construction, horrible ride quality, but often aesthetically pleasing. But definitely NOT meant to be ridden.

Many of the bikes for promos in displays at trade shows. The event is done and the bike is old news. The QC on those bikes didn't have to be first rate. Those bikes even if built to a high standard had no practicality. Most people could see that. Custom bikes and cars are built specifically for the buyer. The buyer may be the only one that cared for the esthetics.

The man seemed to me to be mentally wired for constant argumentized combat with whomever happened to be in his sightline, which was almost always Paul Jr. To me it was a case of Dad wanting to show everyone who was boss and son wanting to build Choppers but always seemed to run head-on into Dad's temper.

Vinnie and Rick each own there own shop's and there business is doing good. And Cody work's with Vinnie and Junior. I have been to rick's and Vinnie's shop's and they are doing excellent. And i ran into Junior at a restaurant and he was happy to pose for a quick picture. And again when i asked Rick and Vinnie for a picture. And Junior popped up and said u want all of us and i said yeah. Even his wife Rachel got in the picture. That was at the time Cody was suing SR. And he did won his case against SR and SR did pay Cody.

This is the best example of letting ego fueled roid rage ruin your life as well as lives of many others. Add in a touch of border line criminal tendencies and senior's life is a predictable train wreck. As a lifelong motorcycle rider with a large collection of bikes, custom choppers really are of little use or interest to most motorcyclists. They are completely useless for practical riding and lose value faster than a stale hamburger as most buyers rail on the buy as the worst purchase decision they've ever made.

Dysfunctional family that built bikes that were unrideable. The bikes were like Paul senior big clunky and stupid.

Hali.légyszíves írd már le hogy mi történt. Lecsukták? És miért? Magyarul a tragédia szó azt jelenti hogy az illető meghalt.

Jezus! Getting sick of these phony tik tok animal chiropractor sponsored ads with a cat screeching and the added in audio of a joint popping then being told years of pain are gone because of the joints getting popped by the bs vet chiropractor, cranking dogs necks and the added in audio of popping sounds wtf seeing this on just about every video I look at no matter the topic!

These bikes got so much hype and were so poorly built. They were straight trash. I’ve owned 3 that I purchased for lass than $5k each after they were already traded over and over again.
