So glad I watched this! Love how they cooked the Pork and cut it up and then dropped the big chunk of Kim Chee in the middle. I never saw that before!

There should always be a place in the world for hand-made... anythings! Humans leave a trace of themselves in every thing they bring into existence which is why cast iron pans like this are so prized the instant they come off the shelf. Your great-granddaughter might be using it and the tradition handed down is just that much more value added, one more little addition of the human aspect.

Good work 😢😮
Parece menos peligroso el trabajo de fundición de Pakistán. Y eso que allá lo hacen en zandalias.
these factories serve a secondary purpose as population thinners . seriously , the most common comment on videos of this type are about the lack of safety , but i'll bet the majority of those commenting buy these goods on a regular basis .
I like pork as well, haha. Very good as food and fast growing.

Yes, I agree, there is sprue then there is riser. For those who do not know what we are talking about, Google cast iron process and diagrams. There is similar process in jewelry lapidary work.

Тут они хотя бы в ботинках. Смотрел видео про индусов,там они вообще все в тапках металл льют.
Так вот как всякие тефали делают...
Well, everything looked well placed no over crowding. Safety equipment very adequate. All areas kept immaculate and tidy. Only the most qualified professionals are allowed to work in the areas of the pouring of the 2000 degree Fahrenheit molted metals so no one steps onto or into a pile of said red hot molten metals. The bottoms of these employees shoes are all fitted with special heat-resistant non-melting rubber. Air quality is of the utmost concern and is breathed in by special supervisors daily to insure that no one is coating the insides of their lungs with various unknown metal dust. All in all a great place to work and at $6 a week is a job worth seeking not requiring a six year college degree. 🥸
What is the last stage to presesaioning. Please explain
0:42 it's not cast iron, it's *pig iron.*

Pakistani foundry workers are mocked for wearing sandals. But I'd rather wear sandals and stand a couple meters away from the molten metal than wear boots and stand six inches away.
So many shapes I’m not familiar with, I wonder if there’s a breakdown somewhere on what they’re all used for.

used mostly for korean bbq, when you grill porks ,the fat juice gets collected at the centre then you fry kimchi with the fat

We now have at least 10 reasons to buy a Lodge skillet, made in USA….
Кустарное производство. Одно что, продукт высоких технологий. ROFL
ESTE E FERRO GUZA PARA DAR LIGA
If one of those men pouring that liquid Hot Meatal got in the way of that molten steel He would be seriously burned, amazing.
I think steel woks are better than cast iron > 1 reason there much more lighter, and don't crack
No PPE
Do you sell outside your country? To Americans? If so how much are they ? Thank you .
Shame that Lodge doesn't put the effort in polishing the cooking surface like they did here ( at least they did do some) The Lodge products I've bought usually need a sanding to smooth the inside
@johnbaker6125
8 ай бұрын
I've sworn by Lodge for years. That skillet they are cooking pork belly in at the end of the video isn't any smoother than any lodge product's cooking surface that I've seen. Currently I have a griddle, saucepan, a Dutch oven/skillet combo and 3 frying pans ir different size, ones with a drip lid and they are all the same surface from the casting process. Remember that Lodge is sand cast, not mold cast and then shot cleaned. I remember when they were a lot smaller, South Pittsburg is 40 miles from where I grew up. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gHmFsptticW_dtI.html
