Oxalates is in the raw casava and other ground provisions..so it has to be cooked. Tell Shammie dont try that again. Sometimes I will eat just a little sliver but never to feel sick. I thought you will get more cassava as that root was bigger though. Be well

the bitter cassava is poisonous.but the sweet cassava is ok
