I was glad to hear that.

My favourite line from her movie. She falls off a ladder while young man was helping her put a sign up. Very worried, he says " how's your head?". Without hesitating she responds, " I've never had any complaints before". How can you not love a woman like that.

The guy told her that he was boring and just like clockwork she said "He can bore me all night." I didn't get that joke until 25 years later.

Even without her makeup, she looks 30 years younger.

I used to be a bartender at the Hollywood Palladium many years ago. I'm working one night there behind the bar on the main floor, can't remember the show/concert/event that was happening, but both Cassandra and Paul Reubens walked up together to my side of the bar and ordered drinks. I still remember it was a Gin and Tonic and a Chardonnay. Paul was standing in back of Cassandra. I was about to let them know the total charge, then Paul quietly gained my attention saying nothing, just handed me a $20 in a very smooth manner and nodded thank you. I did the same. We had a completely silent transaction, no words exchanged. Just the coolest eye thoughts. And he was very appreciative that I caught it in the moment when he created it. What he did was he controlled the tempo of contact with less is more. And it worked beautifully. I smiled at the both of them as they walked off back into the evening's festivities.

I always liked her. She would do the funniest skits and spoofs when hosting the scary movies.

She is so good at what she does. Her comedy chops really made her character.

Met her at LAX years ago. She was the sweetest and most congenial woman.

A former coworker saw her at a restaurant in Fremont, CA. He approached her, and said she was gracious and friendly.

Great interview with what seems like a great person. She created a character and with her own drive and talent , made a career out of it. She is a talented and beautiful actress and has brought great entertainment [I can't believe this], for 38 years. Thank you Elvira.

I loved watching her show! Wish she would come back and host a show!

I miss seeing her on TV. She was great at Elvira.

We went trick-or-treating as teenagers and a lady was dressed as Elvira, cleavage and all. I think we went to that house 3 times.

This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen with Cassandra Peterson. I like the host. He asked some very intelligent questions, going beyond "How did you become Elvira?"

I took my older son to the Toronto car show and she took a pix with him.He was just over the moon. he was 12 then ,now 40.

She's awesome. I loved the way she hosted horror movies.

what a woman she has a pleasant down to earth personality and not at all boastful and still beautiful and sexy for her age, two words very nice.

I met Casandra at a celebrity tennis tournament in Tahoe when I was a teen. I ran the food tent and she came to me for lunch. She took time to talk to me. She was on of the nicest persons I have enjoyed meeting. I wish her the best.

I imagine the executives of that TV station that payed her only $300. per week are probably banging their heads on the wall today for unwittingly giving up all the rights to her character.

Met her at a car show in Calgary in the 90s. Very gracious lady, so accommodating to her fans.

I've always been an "Elvira" fan, and it's so much fun to see Cassandra Peterson apart from her "Elvira" character. She's a lovely woman.

She created herself, a great business woman. Beautiful, smart, talented. I am lucky to have been here to watch it all.

Cassandra or Elvira she's just genuinely funny and beautiful! She's very straight up in plugging her book or relating her past experience and that's a huge part of her appeal. I hope she's around for another 30+ years.

I remember when they spotlighted her in segment on the TV show, Real People.

I’m 61 in November. I’ve been her fan since her beginning.
