Cass Scenic Railroad 50th Anniversary Railfan weekend.
In 1963, the state of West Virginia opened up their newest tourist destination deep within the Appalachian Mountains. The Cass Scenic Railroad offers visitors an escape to a place of natural wonder and peaceful solitude, 4,843 feet above the sea.
Fifty years later, they're still taking visitors to where the earth meets the sky.
