No joke! Pink baby clothes used to be marketed for little boys as "light red" in the early 20th century. So you rock that pink!
This was extremely helpful. You’re a goat for this one!
Great video, May almighty help us all to enter PA program next year.
this was super helpful! I wish had this when I was applying last cycle hahah
Started working on application as soon as it opened but didn't realize all the work that would need to go into it. I've had a LOT of jobs over the years and it'll take me forever to put it all into CASPA. Had a mini panic-attack thinking about all I need to get done before the recommended submission date. But like you said, IF I don't get in, there's always next year! Thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks for the breakdown 👍
Awesome info, I made some of these mistakes myself.😅 Good luck everyone!

@@JohnThePA Thank you !
Awesome 😎
I was told not to copy and paste the personal statement from word because when you submit, it appears blank to those viewing your application
What should I write about in the childhood residency description box???
are we only able to select the schools we want to apply to once the application opens up?
I’m not applying until next cycle but would it be helpful to submit my undergrad transcript and have it verified? Just working on getting PCE and outstanding prereqs (at a different school than my undergrad)
Can you resubmit application after deadline if you have a "undelivered error" ?
On average how many applicants apply during a typical application period? and How many are accepted?
Where is the link you go over your personal statement strengths and weaknesses
I'm a bit confused about what I need to do. In 2023, I requested for my transcripts to be sent to CASPA. CASPA just opened 2 days ago, and I've taken more class since then. Do I just continue adding to the Transcript Entry section? Do I have to request for an updated transcript to be sent to CASPA? Also, I have a single class left to take online at a different institution. I don't take that until Fall 2024, how does that work if I want to apply now?
Thank you for describing what the color codes are. Should I pay for all the application fees even if I haven't taken the GRE (scheduled for July)? or should I just apply for schools that are color-coded Orange?
@JohnThePA
3 жыл бұрын
If the school requires the GRE by time July then you may not meet their GREEN requirement however you should reach out as some schools are willing to wait for a pending GRE. Also there are some GREEN programs with deadlines after July which should be fair game for you to apply to! Good luck with your application

Thank you for helping, my question is I have completed the faculty of Medicine my uni is unable to send my documents while my evaluation agency can do that how I can order to upload my transcript,
Certifications and licenses entered are only active ones? As in I had previous EMT experience but I wouldn’t have to put in that cert? Thanks
@JohnThePA

EMT would be a certification, yes
Is there a way to calculate your CAPSA GPA before entering your information in on the CASPA profile?
@JohnThePA
2 жыл бұрын
You can go to any online GPA calculator website but be prepared to enter in every course yourself. It's a tedious process.
That feeling when you're starting the CASPA 4-8 weeks before the deadline...

You can make it!! I applied “late” in the cycle and got in.
do i need to complete a caspa application if i enroll into direct entry bs/ms pa programs?

Hey! As of now CASPA is for those who have their college undergraduate completed and are looking at the Master's component of their PA education. There are some 3+2 PA schools on CASPA yet there they are only advertising their graduate-level degree. Each 3+2 program has a slightly different way of operating and some don't guarantee you a spot into their PA program while others do. I would look up a bunch of the 3+2 schools and email them for more specifics on how to get into their pipeline but a lot have an "apply" link on the school website and you would apply like you would to any other college or university. A few examples off the top of my head would be Arcadia, DeSales, Jefferson, King's College (PA), Lockhaven, Marywood, Rutgers, Salus, etc, etc...

@@JohnThePA How do they verify hours, especially if one entry was a long time ago and you have to give an estimate on the start and end date?

You have to list them but they do not count against your GPA (to my knowledge, I could be wrong)
