hello, i have the fx-9750GII (slightly newer version where graph is 5 on the menu) and when i press f6, the lines are drawn onto the graph and then syntax error pops up on my screen. Any ideas on how to fix this issue??

Sounds like it might be the way you are entering your function? Can you tell me what function you are trying to draw and how you entered it? Do you have more than one function that you are drawing at a time? It might be worth resetting the calculator. So Settings Menu, F5 (Reset) F2 and then F1. But syntax usually means something was entered incorrectly.

@@mikelekoroni4481 Go to the System Menu icon (should be G). Choose F5 (Reset). Then F2 (Main Memory). Then F1 for Yes. This should reset to default settings. Then go back into Graph and see if you still have the issue.

Hi, I need a calculator that can do operations on 6x6 matrices and I have trouble finding the right one since I know so little about them . Can you give me some more infomation on whether casio fx 9750ii can do that, since it's a bit more affordable one. I can see here that it's pretty much the same as Casio cg50, just black and white, so are there any differences when it comes to matrices? 🤗

The fx-9750GIII can do matrices 6x6 (and larger as well), and you can save/create up to 26 named matrices, as can the CG50 The main differences are color (CG50) and the 3D. There would be no difference in matrices, so I would go with the fx-9750GIII model, especially if cost is the issue. It is the best graphing calculator out there non-color by far.

@@dusicalakovic9308 Ah, sorry!! So yes, you can also do 6x6 on the fx-9750GII It is similar, but it has slightly less functionality than the GIII model. Run-Matrix. You will just see Mat at F1. Choosing this takes you to the matrix menu, where you can enter your matrices (assigning them each an alphabetical name). When you choose a matrix (so say MAT A) it will ask for the dimensions, which is where you would enter the 6 x 6 (or whatever dimensions - it can go higher than 6x6 - I tested up to 10x10). After you enter the matrices, hit EXIT to get back to the calculation screen. To do calculations with the matrices, you need to either do SHIFT-2 (Mat) or OPTN-F2-F1 (Mat) to get the MAT on the screen. Then ALPHA and whatever letter you have for your matrices - so Mat A then whatever operations you intend to do.
