Nice sounding synth.
I've had my CZ-101 since 1988, or 89, when I bought it in like-new condition at a pawn shop for $100. It feels good to know nice examples are $400++, today. Great sounds here! Nice work! Even without knobs, you can still sweep parameters with buttons, if you are smooth with it.
This digital synth, sounds more "analog" than many analog modern gear.

Mainly cuz of lo-fi analog outputs on it.
A 7 stage programmable envelope!! Think about that! I created so totally awesome patches on my CZ1000. I love Casio, their keyboards are SO way ahead of their time!

I think the reason may be is a lot of the sounds are "out there" or not as fat as a Moog say. Some of the sound in this video have an "Oberheim" quality to them.@@zdave6083

Why does that synthesizer command such a rather high resale value? I found one - yes, found - in some curbside stuff. No charger, no cartridge either! I got a hold of a suitable charger and it seems to work but want to do more tests. Thank you for the demo!
Hey I need to know which adaptor is right for the cz101, I know 9V but is (+) inside or outside of the pin? thanks

It's center negative, so ( - ) inside.

Ram card you mean. Rom= read only memory, not rewritable
