So I was stuck trying to open mine but I looked up other puzzle boxes to see if a missed something. Tried hitting it and boom it opened.

Where can I get this?

Is the magnet spring loaded ? So what is stopping it falling by itself to the unlocked position ?

Thanks for your question. The magnetic pin is attracted to the steel piece located in the main box. So it won't fall to the unlocked position, without creating a force (the tap) to release the magnetic connection.
