Cash in the Celebrity Attic - Prue Leith

Ойын-сауық

British celebrities rummage for collectables and antiques in their homes to be valued and sold at auction, the intention being to raise money for donation to their favourite charities.
Dame Prudence Margaret Leith is an internationally acclaimed restauranteur, chef, broadcaster, cookery writer, and novelist. Born in South Africa, and made rich and famous by introducing us to fine food back in the 60s, Prue began her career in a bedsit when she founded her own catering company. In 1969 she opened Leith’s, her Michelin-starred restaurant in Notting Hill, then in 1975 founded her famous Leith's School of Food and Wine, an award-winning UK cookery school.
She’s been a cookery editor and food columnist for many publications including the Daily Mail and The Guardian. Aside from writing 12 cookery books, including Leith's Cookery Bible, she has a love for fiction and has written seven novels. She was a judge on television’s Great British Menu for eleven years, before joining The Great British Bake Off in 2017, replacing Mary Berry.
From humble beginnings she built an empire that now spans the world.
