Fantastic video! Your content is always guaranteed to provide two things: a heavy dose of education, and also a couple good laughs along the way! Your comment on players priding themselves on playing GTO constantly really hit home. I was one of the pack, doing the same things, always judging myself according to the "correctness" of my line, juxtaposed to the solver and then.. I started THINKING! Poker became much easier (and honestly more enjoyable) after I broke away and started to analyze the game via the situations that are presented vs autopiloting my way to a small win-rate. It's a VERY undervalued principle that people have been silenced away from, through pack mentality, keeping their "less approved" thoughts to themselves. Thank you for all the work you do for us !

I am "a player that lacks any kind of energy or courage." Sometimes I don't even polarize myself on the turn. Every once in a while I will get tired of betting quarter pot on the river with the nuts, get drunk, and start raising every flop, then go out and punch a man's BMW on the sidewalk before going back to my remote job doing data entry for Disney and filling out consumer surveys for ten cent. But this is fine because I am only drunk and belligerent at a 15% frequency. I am targeting players who have a BMW and think they're somebody.

In the last hand, would you still jam the river even if you did not hit the flush? Opponent could have had Q-J of clubs for example.

Pretty common. It's hard to fold a nut flush, even on a paired board. I got stacked the same way yesterday, but later I tripled up with the same hand vs QQ and a set of 9. Fortunately the board didn't pair. It was a huge win and I recovered from the previous bad beat with a single hand. So jamming with the nuts is still +ev 😊

The first hand with T9s, I would definitely fold the Flop. But I would´ve also folded the pre flop 4bet 😅 I guess I am folding way too much against 4bets pre flop then.

thats not the problem. on average people dont 4b bluff enough. maybe better to call 65s 54s 76s because people often 4b Q10s K10s A10s to make us fold AJo AQo and shuv AK so they can comfortably fold. and with 109s we are often dominated vs 4b bluffs. although bu vs bb the K10 A10 Q10 suited hands mostly call unlike when they have this hand OOP lets say mp vs bu they mostly will 4b this hands.

Yeah, it misses out on so many spots where one line is higher than the other vs a human’s true range. It does this either by mixing a worse action X% of the time or by pure taking a worse action 100% of the time. Of course, it also plays better than humans in some spots too but this lack of knowledge about its human opponent’s range would be severely stunting to winrate.
