It is also so sad when Norwojee says that JM didn't speak against the government until after 1975 so the "government" didn't know how to finish him. Well, eventually they finished him. Lesson for us all, bad government is bad, and whether or not it's your "man or TURN TO EAT" be careful because you never know who will be killed next. Let's work together as Kenyans to finish poverty and uplift the livelihood of us all.

@@e.crabtree4313 we are still colonized. Patrice Lumumba paid the price for advocating for an anti colonizers nation. These killings are ordered by those same colonizers.The leaders are just puppets. Their so called fights we see on tv is just a distraction. You won't see them fight for an independent nation that doesn't rely on colonial aid you will see them attack each other in pretence.

This few kikuyus were among the very few who never participated in kenya independece struggle ,they were children of British Unti maumau loyalists childeren of chiefs eg AG charles Njonjo who father was chief Njonjo who during the indepence struggle in the 1950's charles njonjo was actually pursuing studies in both london and south african as a lawyer educated by the British colonialist as an incentive because of his father Chief njonjo loyalty to the british.This unti mau mau and pro british loyalists during the freedom struggle thus had not partcipated in the freedom struggle as they were children of british loyalists such as administrative chiefs and the homeguards unit the british created unit made of kikuyu loyalists who fough alongside the british to fight against the freedom army of kenya the mau mau in the 1950's.

If it wasn't him then he wouldn't have had the need to alter the Mwangale report to cover up some names because their presence in the report would have implied that he was party to the assassination. Oh yes, Jomo Kenyatta was right in the middle of not only JM's murder but a number of other politicians killings in Kenya. Don't just go around doubting things. Use your head and apply reason.

@@georgeodhiambo598 you make some good assumptions but at the end you become personal with use your head comment lol .. anyway, i believe from accounts given by those close to him and with him when he received the news and appeared shocked and sad, that he didn’t mastermind it. Just like you I’ve taken a piece of data and made my conclusion. Either of us could be right. Mine is just a personal conclusion but happy to be challenged with some evidence or other convincing data. The point on the mwangale report to me is not logical, did he cover up his name or names of others and why ? Perhaps a close friend and though disappointed he had to look after them, yes a crime to.. obstruction of justice but not necessarily murder mastermind. You can’t conclude that because he altered the report then he did it.. that’s a lazy analysis, not calling you lazy just saying in terms of looking at data … one of us is right but none of us has enough data to be certain I guess … good morning

Those were the hatchet men, but at the centre of all the political murders during Kenyatta's regime was Kenyatta himself.

He learnt from JM and took a key note never leave any witnesses including those that found the body. Everyone was wiped out even the servants were poisoned one by one with Ouko, that one boy who saw what happened when the body was dropped has never been found. JM was a sloppy one, you can tell the killers were not experienced and the coverup was weak it's only that power saved the killer.

Boda Bless Whilst Mr Mwaura's heroic attempt to cast aspersions on Rosemary's character (by trying to poke holes in her recollection of the events surrounding JM's death) is admirable to say the least, Mr Mwaura's chicanery still cannot expunge, obscure, explain away, or remove from Kenya's history the very fact of JM Kariuki's murder death. And it was a murder, unless of course JM Kariuki gouged out his own eyes.

Our heroes like JM are murdered in a most savagery way & are afterwards ignored, their contributions & accomplishments all forgotten along with their names. Then comes a dictator who takes all the country's money & hides it in foreign banta in London, swiss banks & everywhere else in the world & impoverish & oppress the masses & insists, like ALL dictators do, that streets, buildings & schools be named after him; THEN after the dictator dies--having lived a selfish, super wealthy life & leaves billions & lots of properties to his children--the ignorant masses cry their stupid heads off with some saying how the dictator gave their children "free milk." LOL It's enough to make me want to throw up. But whoever participated in the savage murder of this great & wonderful human being (or Mboya & others who met with similar fate) in any shape, form or manner, I hope their souls roast in hell for eternity. RIP JM. So sorry you were tortured & taken from us too soon. Good men (&women) never die. So, you live forever in our hearts. Thank you so much for fighting for independence and continuing to speak up for the common mwananchi. You died an honorable man & remain one in death. Rest in peace always, always.

Kenyatta was dead 5 years later , Koinange was dead within 8 years So what was it all for to deprive the family and whole country of a loved one just to die after that .
