Now you really are the Bob Ross of carving with all those happy little trees

My husband is a woodturner and he has been making trees, snowman, lanterns, bells and more and I have been doing the same thing as your wife, arranging them everywhere.

I gotta say, the way you come up with and explain these tutorials is absolutely amazing. I normally watch fully once, give it a shot, then watch again to be able to identify any slight changes I can make to improve on my next one. My carvings have improved a ton thanks to the many tips and tricks I've learned from you.

I appreciate hearing you nicked your finger - I went into the nail bed on my last injury and my wife now checks to make sure I have my glove on. Appreciate your creativity and fun approach to these carvings. I learn something new every video.

Doug, you make those triangle cuts look easy! Since this this is a very common cut in carving, could you make a quick video on how to do them so cleanly? I struggle with making the three cuts join at the same spot so the chip pops out. Keep up the great videos!

Great project. When you first got carving, one of my 3 early trees where 16 inches tall. They grew legs and left my shop never to return.
