Carvana as a whole has been in SOS mode for years, for many reasons. If it's not required by law, they are cutting corners to save money. Their good employees most likely left due to their stock crashing down, and as someone commented earlier. They buy and resell junk without really doing a FULL inspection.

Im not sure they did an inspection at all.. the camera didn't do it justice - inside the engine bay there was coolant residue every where to the point it should have been noticable if they even popped the hood.

I've had good luck selling cars to them... they always paid the most for my pices of junk lol

I have terrible anxiety which made Carvana a tempting option for my first car purchase, even though something in my head kept telling me I really shouldn't... I'm so glad I listened to my hunch and ended up going to a decent dealership instead, got a car with half as many miles as the same make/model was getting on Carvana- not to mention an actual warranty instead of Carvana's absolutely meaningless "cerification"

Thank you for your comment. Having made a lot of car purchases between Mike and myself over the years, there was a strong temptation given that most of their vehicles are reasonably priced, so haggling over the price and finance would not have been an issue. However the old saying, "don't buy a car unseen' or "always drive before you buy" rings very loudly. So unless we have a car broker to do a PPI, or see it ourselves to do a PPI we will not visit Carvana again.

When you buy a used car, you take chances. I’ve had good luck with Carvana but they can’t treat used cars like new cars, customer service wise. The risk of used remains.

True but there are lemon laws for a reason. And yes, Carvana's 7 day guarantee mostly protects them and the buyer from getting a lemon. But I do have the expectation that a vehicle that has allegedly gone through an inspection would arrive without immediate issues such as a CEL and a coolant leak.

I sold them a warrantied low mileage lemon that I didn't trust. They paid top dollar for it. I got it fixed under extended warranty, replaced the tires and fixed it 100% before selling it to them. It had over $16,000 worth of warranty work and was under 39,000 miles. I would never in my life purchase a car from them.

Good stuff

If your car overheats turn the heat on high open your windows it can help cool the engine to get you either off the highway or to where you're going

Thank you for watching the video and dropping down here in the comment section. The heater trick was being utilized. We had to stop a few times when it stopped producing heat and refilled the coolant system.

Did you ever hear of consumer reports . you bought one of the worst rated cars there is

3 cars, zero problems.

Well, 1 problem. They fixed wndshield washers on my 205 BMW which was a chore in my driveway with mobile mechanic, but he got it done and no problems since.

Like I said "you're mileage may vary" and it's good to hear some people have had a good experience... unfortunately my first (and only) purchase from them was palgued with issues... from not being able to reach customer support to being shorted on the check they sent for purchasing my trade-in. Not to mention the vehicle I purchased arrived with issues. I had sold to them a few years ago and it was a breeze... but not being paid in full or even being able to cash the original check for a week cause they kept saying they would void it and re-issue just drove me insane.

Ok I forgot another car that they delivered. It had dents up and down the side which were not disclosed or seeable in pics. It didn't even get off the truck and went straight back.. This was under their old policy where I didnt have to choose another car. They voided the purchase right then and there. I bought my BMW a few months later.

Meineke? ROTFLMAO! Meineke is the biggest scammers of all they hire uncertified techs...

@@TheDucatiDads Sorry that isn't correct you can take it to a dealer or anyone else you like you just have to pay $50.00 copay..I took my Nissan to the dealer where they replaced my Crankshaft Nissan worked with Silverstone for the claim...it was pretty straight forward.

They will repair it for free at a third party shop.

I did mention that in the video... they give you a 7 day guarantee to exchange, return and a total of 14 days for repairs. The problem for us was that it was delivered with a coolant issue and the check engine light... so what else was wrong with it. The 14 day repair warranty just wasn't going to be sufficent for us to keep the vehicle.
