lol I don’t know why people hate. I prefer massive verse, but this is a damn good idea for an exclusive. It’s something that’s cool to have, but it’s not a necessity that would break your collection.

I was hoping it wouid be Vintage Origins My only concern now is I hope Mattel does not make Vintage taking a backseat to Cartoon Collection become a Trend like they release the Cartoon version of a figure first then make us wait 6 to 12 months later for the Vintage counterpart.

Mattel has basically confirmed that the Origins figures based on the vintage line will mostly be on Mattel Creations now. So I think your worries are kinda happening now…

My hope is that there might eventually come a single carded vintage Two-Bad without the extra stuff. I'm not sure if that'll happen. I'd like to pass on this but if Vintage Two-Bad doesn't come this is gonna be a must have.

That’s the Ancient Mirror of Avathar that appeared in the Filmation episode of the same name. The mirror contains all the knowledge of the Avatharian Empire. Two Bad appears in the episode.

I’m guessing the Cartoon version is being done first is due to it being their main MOTU retail priority now. Is that framed painting accessory a reference to a weirdly specific episode from the old cartoon? I have a feeling they’ll do a regular retail version of this Two Bad, just minus the extra accessories. They did that with She-Ra & Sun-Man, so I think it’s possible. Also it’s basically confirmed that the Origins figures based on the vintage line, it’s just gonna be sold on Mattel Creations more now.

Good price for a SDCC-style offering. I'm fine (in this case) paying $10 for the cool box, torso & painting.

I dont think they will do another Two-Bad for "vintage" style Origins. With this SDCC one, they could reuse the body from the Turtles Of Grayskull and I dont think it will sell enough to warrant a 2nd version this soon.

The Mattel guy claimed last year they fully intend on finishing out the vintage line but they'll all be MC exclusives. There's still a dozen or so vintage figures they owe us not counting pop. They also need to do some more re-issues on some figures that are stupidexpensive on ebay, like king hiss, slamurai, etc. They're more than most of the exclusives now.

I wonder if this will come with weapons!!

Excited for this, I want both versions of him, so I am happy! :)

The figures are slightly different sizes and have different cardbacks with different titles (Masters Of The Universe vs He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe). These are as much different toylines as Masters Of The WWE Universe and Turtles Of Grayskull are IMO.

It's always been possible by just heating the plastic with hot water or a blow dryer. They've just made it a bit easier in this instance it seems.

@@shogunfox7141 Never claimed anywhere that they were the same. Y'know, when someone states that "one is.... and the other is", it very strongly implies that the person talks about two different/separate things. I also used the word "both", which denotes 'two'. From a 40-year-old "Son". 🙂

It's a cool figure set but I wish they could've made him the origins based on the original figure and NOT the cartoon line

I have the másterverse which is the best two bad figure ever made so I couldn't care less about the origins one 😊

Man I gonna need two two bads and when they come out in origins and spit in two I'll need two of those two bads too.. that's two hundred dollars.. that's too many twos 😅😝

Not so incredible is that Two Bad does not come with a single weapon…or a shield…only the Mirror of Avathar….for 50$

Thanks heavens, it isn't a vintage inspired origins figure but the garbage cartoon line that lacks definition.

I'm not a Huge MOTU collector but know the Original early 80's animation cartoon very well and sorry but in my option, this is garbage just like when Alien movie told us and Android named David was responsible for creating the Alien species eww and you had seen how that went as I could name more, mysterious is always better than knowing and that's where these figures become trash. Knowing the characters background of an old character is never a smart thing ever as it has never worked out EVER!!! watch how many collectors over the years will stop talking or loving this character because of these figures and now back story. But what do I know I'm just and old fart from the past.
