Now even though the "Checkerboard" era lasted from 1992 to around 1998, this particular part of the era that lasted from 1992 to 1994 is what I refer as the "Launch era" as this was the look CN began with.
Not sure if anyone else comments on this, but i just love the background music in some of these promos 🎶🎵
