I think that Cartoon being on the "Dancing Prospect Series" was unavoidable..He has been killing it for a while now and after Fusion Concept and Qualifications both Joris & Cartoon proved that they are really high level. It's already Episode 8 and I already know who will be in the Episode 9 (anyone who follows the dance world probably knows who I am talking about) 💡 All the info about the video is in the description ! I find these movements very uncontrolled, Inside the HIP-HOP has been dropping a lot of technique because of these crazy styles.

That's the new generation for you. Most of them do know how to stay controlled though, but often what you see in Cartoon is mostly a gimmick to portray the mood of the song better. His teammates entrust that gimmick a bit too much too : Joris and Namu, but that doesn't mean they are incapable of hyping a crowd. Ultimately this evolution of hip hop is linked to more incorporation of Krump's culture, in that you convey even more explicitly the raw emotions of the song and your own. But some do stay rooted in flow based movements : you'd find yourself at home with dancers like Junior So fly, Dimstah, Hisoka, Evion / Mantis, Dykens....

23 no it’s just a different style there is control but he doesn’t hold his movements like other dancers everyone has grown up with like Criminalz Crew Sarcellites Yudat crew etc it’s unique to him and other dancers such as Rubix even incorporate some form of it in there dance hence why they call him Rubix he can spit anything out at random but it’s almost always amazing and unique

If you watch closely tho you’ll notice that his movements are acc more less all controlled every limb and shift of body weight is quick and on beat it’s a unique and different style of dance but just like his fellow prodigies he’s also a very versatile dancer that can easily switch into another style if he feels like it

Snag but it’s something he’s developed over the years and if you watch his movements and listen to the beat you’ll see how talented he acc is joris probly developed a lot of that dance style from him being as he wasn’t the best dancer when he was younger like lil Rubix so he developed and dance style similar to cartoons and molded it to his own uniqueness like with Kuty who wasn’t as good as a kid but developed the similar fine movement and body control to Rubix and evidently they’re partners despite everyone’s individual difference in styles

Honestly that is something that I was worried about ! Until Fusion Concept 2018 I would always see Cartoon in the title of his battles and when people would talk about him they would always write "Cartoon". So the thing that popped to my mind is checking his instagram page and seeing his username written with a "c" and not "k" I was kind of sure that this was the right way And thank you :)
