Can you do the Carter Sensation?

Does the string stay on the hook with tilting the release? When anchored, thumb releases aren't going to have the hook perpendicular to the D loop...

Hey can you explain what the size difference is? I can not tell at all. Is the small for just children? I really like the color option on it better and know I don't like bulky releases. Just want to make sure with gloves in winter I'll still be able to fit in the moon.

Your better off with the large if your gonna use gloves.

No travel adjustment because no trigger travel. That thing has plenty of trigger travel. I can set my Just Cuz + and any one of my Stans to where you can't actually see it move (or barely if you look closely enough) when the trigger goes off.

Don't mistake movement after the release triggers for travel. If you notice when the release is cocked, it moves quite a bit forward. But it doesn't move all that way before it fires. It fires at the very front end of the movement.

@@LancasterArcherySupply I just received an EZ and it too has creep (before the jaws release, not travel afterwards). Feels fine when shot without a load on the jaw, but with a load on the jaw there is a clear feeling of metal moving over metal before it trips. This is present across a wide range of tension settings and is not something `I have encountered with any other Carter. Everything else about the release is amazing - the handle, location of the button etc, but that creep is a show-stopper. Trying a second one to see if that's any different.

Got my replacement thru and its perfect, so the first one clearly wasn't how Carter intended it to be. I absolutely love this release. Pairs beautifully with my Carter NV hinge.

Just tried one, first of all it is not easy to hook onto the the d-loop. The release is light in my opinion to light. Adjustment is tricky making contact with the Adjustable screw is a pain. Be very careful when pulling back the hook is small any twist of the hand is off. For me the worst Carter release I’ve tried, and in my opinion not for beginners.

I’m newer to compounds and have just bought this. You’re right-in my opinion it’s a nightmare, hook is shallow/small and I’ve had multiple accidental let offs it’s giving me target panic 😢 I don’t want to have to worry about individual finger tension or the slightest tweak of my draw hand at the moment.
