We were walking along the fence and came up to the end of, right one little elf and ammo we're side by side. They were coming down the hill and we were walking up. Great weekend. Saint Peter Gabriel in the womad festival that Friday at buckeye lake. Then racing all weekend at Mid-Ohio.

1st rookie in 82 years to take the title? That wasn't very well researched. Bob Carey won the championship as a rookie in 1932 before sadly dying in a crash before the next season started. Mario Andretti arguably won the championship as a rookie in 1965 (he did run most of the races in 1964 but did not run the Indy 500, so I think one could legitimately call him a rookie in 1965.) Not to mention that the first IndyCar title was in 1905, not 1911, and all the 1910s years except for 1916 did not count towards a championship (all races in this period were effectively non-points events.)

The list compiling all the winners of the Rookie of the Year award in open wheel championship racing from 1946 to present day. Before the creation of Championship Auto Racing Teams the prize is not officially awarded. So all of the AAA and USAC winners of the Rookie of the Year award is not officially recognised. Nigel Mansell is officially the first Rookie to win the Championship and still the only man to win back to back titles in F1 and Indycar. He held both titles at the same time. Mario Andreotti did not win the title in his Rookie season. Mario won Rookie of the year in 1964 so how can he win the Championship as Rookie of the year in 1965 when Carl Williams won Rookie of the year in 1965.
No wonder he had a broken back when he won Indy, always crashing

Before i watch this, let me make a prediction. 90 cars start the race, 3 cars finish on the lead lap, and 6 cars actually finish the race. Everyone else crashes or has a mechanical DNF, and nobody passes anyone. And it bores me to death in the meantime. Meanwhile, proving to be disgustingly dangerous for all safety workers.
