Another stupid story line. Yuk yuk yuk. Like she would pick a town over her love. They didnt even seem like they were sad about parting. Yuk yuk yuk. The show is getting worse instead of better. Jack and elizabeth made it good. The show should have died with jack. No other story line can hold your attention. Yuk yuk yuk.

I didn’t know he was leaving the show, this was sad.

Well, I have no reason to watch next season.

Enough with Elisabeth story line should be about Nathan and a strong leading lady then I will start to watch it again.

@@joelladebard822 I don't agree with that at all. Just can't see Elizabeth and little Jack living up over a saloon. This setting is not in 2021 where anything goes. This was many years ago. Their relationship just doesn't seem believable to me. I like Lucas ok. Just not with Elizabeth. I think the writers have hurt this show more than they know. Time will tell.

Wasted season. Probably am over this show. Elizabeth showed her ego this year and the decent person didn't come thru. Very materialistic this year. Get a new focus on the show if you are using this new Elizabeth.

Elizabeth did not see "Jack" in Nathan. That was bogus? She is scared. Erin Krakow is one of the producer's. I totally agree. People have gotten upset with me for stating a dislike of Tinker's work, but I think this season was a mess - inconsistency in characters, poor editing, and overall more like a soap opera.

I hated this season. Elizabeth was meant to be with a mountie not a saloon owner. She chose Jack over Edward for a reason just like she should have chosen Nathan over Lucid. I have always loved the wonderful lessons the writers chose give give with the stories however this not love to was a weird big mess and I will not watch anymore. I was a very faithful fan from the beginning and watched each season over and over but since Jacks death there hasn't been a reason to watch and now there is no reason to watch at all. Thanks Hallmark for ruining a wonderful series.😭😭😭

@@justjast I was only holding out hope thinking he’s building up deep stories that will unwind and then resolve beautifully in the finale but that never happened. We got such short segments of each storyline every episode which ended with annoying cliff hangers (which all meant nothing) and none of the heartwarming feels we all love about hallmark and WCTH.

What no long kiss good by! How cold. Move on Faith. If he was going to prepose he would of!

When the dust of Carson's stage coach had barely settled on the ground. A new low for Hallmark writers. At this point I am not in any hurry to see a season 9.

I agree with you completely. If they planned for her to pick Lucas then it would have been better if she told him she did not love him the day he professed his love to her. Instead they dragged the whole thing keeping us on the edge of our seat till the end for her to say it too him so coldly. They did not even stick to the book storyline. Now Carson gone, Henry gone, I am done with the show too.

For season 9 they need to show Elizabeth waking up from this horrible nightmare she just had of Carson and Henry leaving and kissing Lucas! 💔

The ending was not good. The writers put to much infancy on Elizabeth like she was the queen of the show. The writers did do Nathan story lines any justice they played him down to my Elizabeth and Lucas look good. I watched all of Nathan hallmark movies he is just as romantic as Lucas. He would have been better for Elizabeth than Lucas because he is more passionate and a family man. Lucas is a businessman. Lucas all ways had on suits. And never was seen holding or playing with little Jack or seen taking to any of the other kids on the show. Please when the season comes back don't let Nathan waste any time giving Elizabeth a second thought he just needs to move on from her fast.

Some sad goodbyes..I said goodbye also..😢 Yeah it didn't go the way I wanted so I'm a sorry loser..My choice. Bye WCTH

if you watch Agenda and Agenda 2 it will explain why thing have been so terrible this season for team nathan and team imfirmary fans. agenda is an award winning documentary by a man who was a legislator and he explains how entertainment is being used to get us used to the idea of communism which is sneaking into america slowly. the reason this connects to WCTH is that Communism HATES family and also Hates when people put the individual over their own ideas which is why they would HATE team Nathan that represents Family and also Team Imfirmary wich would represent that relationships are more important than goals or ideas

@@donnawoodward3163 I know Kevin Mcagarry and Kayla who plays Fiona are together in real life but I just don't see Nathan with Fiona on the show. Love them both. Just not together. They need to bring a new person on the show who would sweep Nathan off his feet. He deserves true love. And even though I have always been ateam Nathan for Elizabeth, I think he deserves someone better. I have always loved her character but she has been an unlikeable, self absorbed person that we don't even recognize in season 8. ISeason 9 needs to be better for there to be a season 10.

With real life having so many disappointments of its own, there’s no need to watch the disappointing lives of others play out on a tv show. This is no longer a feel good show, and is no longer deserving of my time. Glad I missed the last episode. Lucas? Are you kidding me?? That’s just gross. And Carson? And, and, and on it goes. Too much drama for fiction folks!

The writers didn't give Carson a proper good bye. Just short and everybody clapping. There should have been going away party. Look at all the attention and focus that was give to Elizabeth and Lucas at the end. Carson was the town doctor they could have done him better. I wouldn't be surprised if don't come back because of the way he was written off. An the other guy that left. They played a big part in the show and didn't get hardly any attention. Everything was about Elizabeth. She is not the whole show. They made Nathan look bad to make Lucas and Elizabeth relationship look like they was so good.

Did Carson actually leave ? That filming of the stagecoach departing and Faith's words to Fiona were odd and could hint its not over perhaps for those two ?

From the interviews, it looks like Carson is not gone for good atleast- he may come back ! Maybe he and Faith need some time away from each other to evaluate what they want. I feel their struggle is very real. Faith is home in Hope Valley and loves it there but she knows Carson is a fine surgeon and she cant hold him back. If Hope Valley gets a bigger hospital (the town is growing and this should happen at some point), thats the only way I can see both of them together without compromising on their callings

I am sad to see many comments about not watching again. We are, or should be, team Hope Valley. So many storylines to follow. These were changing times a decade or two after the turn of the Century. So much history ahead and changes. There was a lot of encroachment into communities because of the industrial age, much like we have had in the technical age. Nathan will certainly have his hands full next year, as well as Bill. I will be rooting for Nathan and Allie! I was happy about Elizabeth's choice. A show we can watch as a family! I'm excited to continue for Season 9! Thank you, Hallmark!

@@normabernal7242 Well when you see this horrible season, the changes they made to Elizabeth personality, i mean for gods sake, she was wearing the fucking wedding ring the whole season! Don't they understand she is not ready to find another love while she is wearing this? I though that in the end she will choose to stay alone, remembering Jack and taking care of her son because she didn't yet forget about her dead husband. Apart from that the people who is leaving town and Carson not ending with Faith in any way... I don't know for me, they ruined the show. What was the reason for this season? The love triangle? Everybody hated that, the only good think was Ned and Florence wedding, the ONLY thing! So, excuse me if I don't have the energy to follow a show that the writers ruined.

@@normabernal7242 it was just to let you know that the true hearties can abandon she show if the show goes in the wrong way. And it's not all negative comments it's just how we felt about the season 8 and the bad choices the writers did with this season.

I say bring on Lacey chabert for Nathan since Fiona is tied up with the other guy and Carson's girlfriend faith will be another heartbreak for Nathan

I really enjoyed the character development of the Rosemary/Lee Coulter, Clara/Jessie Flynn, the Canfields, Ned/ Florence Yost, Gowen/Christopher, and Nathan/Allie.I hate the fact that Elizabeth is completely changing herself. She is thinking that she is choosing the "safer" choice by picking Lucas because of Jack's death. I do not care for Lucas because he never made an effort to be involved with baby Jack. Do you not think it is funny how she would never bring baby Jack around Lucas but would bring him around Nathan?? She has a child so instead of being so self-seeking she should be worried about how her decisions will affect baby Jack!! I mean really?? How could she be more self absorbed by stringing along Nathan?? If her heart really belonged to Lucas why did she always resort back to Nathan?? All she did was crush a little girls dreams and break a good mans heart. The only way to save this show now is to have new writers take over for their storyline. I have not enjoyed the constant "indecisiveness" of Faith. Poor Carson really loved her but she was so confusing. I really do hope he returns to open up a surgical unit and hopefully finds a new love interest well deserving of his love. I really hope that Lucas does something dishonorable to Elizabeth and she runs back to Nathan to have the family they both deserve. I would enjoy seeing the two #1 jerkfaces end up together. Can you not see Lucas and Faith?? Lucas the Jealous, stalkerish, manipulator and Faith the indecisive brat that she really is. I think that is what they both deserve. If Hallmark does not fix this I will not be watching season 9 period.

What a beautiful ending Love this show. So glad Elizabeth chose Lucas. It's such a good change and they have such a deep connection. Can't wait for season 9. Some of the best writing I have seen in season 8. Nathan and Elizabeth are better as friends. Maybe he and Faith could pursue a relationship.

@@mgetsit1184 Exactly, I mean, if she was in love with Lucas, why she did never answer the love confession of Nathan, she could say "I'm in love with Lucas, sorry" but instead she did not say anything, for me that means "I'm not sure of my feeling" or the true reason "I'm afraid of loosing you as it happened with Jack" so, she only choose Lucas because she was afraid and Lucas was a save option.

Well it's only a TV show. Enjoy the ride. Its much easier.

Fans could not see a real connection with Faith and Carson from the beginning in my opinion. It is probably good one of them left. The whole storyline with the two of them was terrible because there was not connection with the two of them. I love Carson the actor in Hallmark Movies but he did not fit good in his character on this show.

yeah i love Paul Greene but he was a bit stiff. And honestly i couldn't tell he had feelings for faith until he said yes im interested,, i was like wait what? you are? okay good. Faith had more chemistry with Jack. but i did like Faith and Carson's storyline until he became sort of a jerk when she came back from her residency.

I'm team Nathan. If the viewers had payed close attention to the show. The writers didn't give Nathan a fair chance with Elizabeth. know dates or good romantic part. All he did was run after her and she teased and lead him on. I have watched all of Nathan's other hallmark movies he is just as romantic as Lucas and good a actor. ELISABETH was treated like she was the queen of the show. The show could have done better without this triangle. She could have just date Lucas in the beginning. They just used Nathan to make her and Lucas storyline look good. The way she ended it with Nathan was cold. It's just like the writers forget about all the other characters. Letting Rosemary have a baby and Bill getting into a relationship. They didn't give faith and Carson a good storylines. The way he left they all standing around clapping why not give him a going away party. Henry leaving without telling the viewers. With all of Elizabeth drummer the show was like a soap opera. In the beginning it was more family like. When season 9 come back please let Nathan get over Elizabeth very quickly know sadness. He deserves to be happy. I would like to see him have a good and strong fatherly relationships with his niece.

I hope that means he’s leaving the show.

Either Faith and Nathan or Fiona and Nathan...curious as to next season...

Agreed. The writers did an awesome job keeping all of us fans guessing week to week!! Good job. Can’t wait for season 9!!

@@normabernal7242 Spoken like a true Team Lucas fan. I am Team Nathan and I have hated this entire season. Deleted all the shows I taped. But I will be there in Season 9 to watch because I like Nathan, Lee and Rosemary and many other characters. Season 8 has been only for Team Lucas fans which is not smart. They have divided the hearties and will lose a lot of people just for their ratings. I hope they learn a lesson from this. I have enjoyed this series from the beginning. Season 8 has been the most disappointing. They have to do better in season 9 or they will not have a season 10, in my opinion.
