This seems oddly sketchy. He got a 1770 on the SAT (when it was out of 2400). That is a mediocre score; yet we are expected to believe that this kid was doing integrals at the age of 3. By now (2019) he should have invented commercially available nuclear fusion power, or made the next big breakthrough in modern physics. Why has he not made it to MIT or Cal Tech or something bigger? Why has he only obtained a bachelor's degree? Something is very very off about this whole situation.

That's not how this stuff works at all, I promise you. Take someone like Terry Tao; at 5 he was doing math at a level nobody at his age had even come close to, but as he grew older he went from being a stand-out genius to just a regular genius as other geniuses caught up. Prodigies mature and progress at different rates from one another. Carson was still valedictorian at 10 with a 4.0 GPA. Not to mention his verbal SAT could have been much weaker.

Tao's still a genius, do you have any idea how many papers he published, and the quality of them? Think about it, we know all kids are dumb at 2, 5, 16 etc (age of consent is 18 in some states), when they grow up at 18 or 20 they start to become sensible and smart, now think of what happens if someone was as smart as an average 18 year old when they were only 5 years old. When they've become 20 their smartness is raised to such a degree that only a handful of people can even come close.

This poor kid. He doesn't realise it yet, but this is not life. Being academically gifted, and being able to solve real world problems involving PEOPLE, are not the same thing. This is why most of these so-called geniuses rarely achieve anything of substance. Sometimes they build something great... for a company like Microsoft, which reaps all the credit and profits from that, while the genius gets a pat on a back behind the scenes.
