Continuing the 1.9.2.4 updates. Now onto the Ornament Valley overhaul

Change-Log:
- An updated Lightning McQueen texture, more accurate to the movie - 00:00
- Ramone's Salone of Body Art and Luigi's Cassa Della Tires icons restored to original (explanation below) (01:00)
- "Excited" quotes for Monster McQueen were added (01:24)
- "Excited" quotes for Monster Mater were added (03:16)
- Fillmore's Nature Preserve bug fix (07:13)
- Fuel Frenzy Expert Mode now has 5 laps instead of 4 (MOOOORE GRRRRIIIIND HAHAHAHAAAAAAA) (15:33)
- Updated opponents for Rustbucket races: now every Mater's cousin participates in those races, also Emma and Fred (20:38)
- Updated difficulty for Ornament Valley Circuit (42:00)
- New tourists showcase and everything else (minor) in Ornament Valley (52:00)
- Agressive marketing at it's best (1:29:08)
- Stadium Race #2 (1:40:20)
Other stuff showcased:
- Once again, Stadium Races. Those races which do not allow a single mistake, else - you lose.
- Testing separate PHY files for races by adding a speed limit to first two Rustbucket races
- Further difficulty tests
- Now you can hear Frank's and Gudmund screams in Ornament Valley from time to time... what could it mean?..
- Also, a sound of hawk.
- New tourists for Ornament Valley: 7 Sedan, Barry, Vince, Lenny, Sonny, Boost, Buford, Cletus, The Crippler, Ginormous, Count Spatula, Monster Mater, Sully, Fan, Fillmore, Flo, Fred, Guido, Hatchback, Doc Hudson, Journalist, Judd, Lewis, Lightning McQueen (Original), Mia, Tia, Mike, Riley (NASCAR), Philipp, Ramone, Sally, Sarge, Sedan, Sheriff, Snot Rod, Tommy Joe, Tractor, Van, Wagon, Zeke, Yokoza, DJ, Wingo
- Objects from Race'N'Chase and North Willy's Butte, Rustbucket Grandprix are added
- More paint-jobs and wheel-sets for Story Mode (W.I.P)
- Further Camera changes + 2 new presets: Up-Down and Original (still in test)
- Updated AUD files for Mater, Tommy Joe, Zeke, Buford, Judd, Cletus, Lewis, DJ, Boost, Wingo, Snot Rod
- Updated Race'N'Chase opponents: Doc for Radiator Springs Circuit, Mater for Fillmore's Nature Preserve, Vince for Ornament Valley Airport, Yuri for Inside the Turkey, Gudmund for Rustbucket Grand Prix
- Updated opponents for all the races.
- Monsters can now tilt and go backwards
F.A.Q
Q: Why audio still sounds like it was recorded in your toilet?
A: Well, I tried to change it's bitrate, and ended up with KZread not processing the audio correctly, leading to no sound at all. It requires further investigation, which requires a lof of time.
Q: Why did you revert Ramone and Luigi's icons?
A: They are from Race-O-Rama, and since Ramone and Luigi do not have their stores in every city of world (obviously), these icons were replaced to the custom garages ones. Since Mater-National happens only in Carburetor Country - there is no much sense to replace those, other icons are just ruining Mater-National's vibe.
Q: Is that it for the story mode overall?
A: No, everytime I find a bug or a thing or two to add or fix, and this mostly happens off-screen, and I must post a video anyways.
Q: Why don't you cut some parts of the video?
A: Because there are some people who think that my build is as unstable as me in my teen age, but in reality - it works COMPLETELY fine!
Known bugs and inconviniences:
- Fuel Frenzy is intended to have 5 racers, but it has only 4 - [Unknown fix]
- "Black Sky" bug is still active on some races - [Unknown fix]
- AI monsters frequently go rather backwards - [Unknown fix]
- Paint-Jobs and Wheel-Sets are not separate from it's paint-jobs and are unlocked right away - [Pending]
- Difficulty is still too easy in Ornament Valley - [Pending]
- Rustbucket difficulty is a mess - [Pending]
- Emma spawns inside Yuri in Inside the Turkey - [Fixed]

I love the camera change, it resembles the first cars game very well! I'll watch more of the video when I'm free, you've come a long way though!

I am surprised McQueen's spoiler is its own texture, considering the amount of cuts they had to make in the original sequel games

Not sure how to even respond to that... That would be a huge talk.
I have a suggestion for another paint scheme for mcqueen:) I think it would be really cool if you added the prototype/storyboard design of McQueen from the early drafts of Cars 1:) in those stages he had the same model as generic piston cup cars, and was number 57:)

No. "The more the merrier" is *not* my motto. Any new character should have a voice, and even considering that: Yokoza and Komodo are still a questionable idea. I think you got my point. Sorry if I disappointed you with that, but I want to keep the MN atmosphere more or less untouched, without mashing everything into one game.

@Paynecars I can tell that Gudmund Koji and all those other international racers were originally going to be in adventure mode based off all this unused Dialogue for them. Am I correct?
The audio doesn’t sound wrong at all actually, if anything it sounds correctly compared to how it used to be

payne i see you upscaled the icons for races but you used dxt1 format which breaks the transparency of icons so they look off and not as good, try upscaling them again but use dxt5 or 3

Hi, friend! I´m interesting into port spanish sounds of the game to Superdrive but, how i need to unpack the audio.pak? Because a simple extraction with quickbms not work and the files will corrupted. I thanks your answer.

You need a tool called BINK *something*, just type Bink Video in Google and there will be a site with a name RAD Game Tools Download something which looks like converter. I don't exactly remember how the tool is called, but you should find it with no problem. Also, the reason audio files are "corrupted" is because of a specific codec TVG uses.

I wish Cars Superdrive Edition has a Custom Race just like Cars on PSP that way you could race 1 2 or 3 people which are computers
