One of them is a a more upscaled and better detailed which is his classic cars 1 paint job and the other one is is Dinoco paint job. Both of these were going to be in the game as well. However, if you swap one of the texture files to the on used cars 1 Rusteze and when you run the game, you will notice that it’ll look weird. The reason for this was because the texture layouts for this file is completely different compared to the other ones that are in the game

Pinehills International Speedway could be Pocono shaped as the promotional art for the environments does show a Pocono shaped track. There is also a lot more environment promotional art in the game that Im not sure what some are referring to. Mater's Countdown Clean-Up is playable in the final version but requires a cheat code to unlock it (like Mater's Speedy Circuit and a Ghosting Mater level on 360 and Wii consoles) but once u reach 100 garbage points, the mini-game doesn't end and still continues until the timer runs out. "It doesn't get any better than this" does have a full rendered cutscene however not shown in story mode. East valley bit might be like how it was in Cars Mater national since u can explore a more eastern side of Ornament Valley. Im not sure if this more eastern side of Ornament valley in mater national could be the east valley bit its referring at. The Black Crowes Go Faster albeit not in the game was in NASCAR 06 Total Team Control.

This is a very comprehensive look into unused content in the games, and being such a big fan of the games myself, I really enjoyed watching it, although I was disappointed with not really showing much of the content by itself, which I get for the video’s runtime, but wish you just provided links to your sources in the description, you had links popping up on screen but… c’mon, nobody types URLs out anymore, I feel like this video does a great job at introducing me to cut content, but leaves me wanting more since you really didn’t focus a lot on them, I’d love to do the digging myself and look into it a bit more, which is what I’ll actually do in a bit, but just wish you could’ve focused on and showed more of it off, still a great video tho, learned a lot from it

Would’ve been nice if they kept the night loading screen in the Cars 1 video game. I like the night loading screen more than the day time one.

The Night loading screen theme has not actually been unused it normally does not appear due to a bug but in fact it can appear on rare occasions, once I had the luck to witness it appearing in one of my games, I came across this loading screen, and on the 4th Radiator Springs Grand Prix the East Valley area would be reused in Race O Rama as seen in the first trailer where McQueen goes beyond Ornament Valley, it was probably removed due to lack of space.

The Concept images of Race o Rama are actually from Cars 2 the game that was initially going to be the next game but for obvious reasons the game had to be Reworked, for these Concept images I presume that Race o Rama would be a big budget game since the game was low budget, understanding that they would have more budget at the beginning

i've been also digging through a lot of stuff in cars video games. Here are some things you may could have been added, or some things corrected. That is true that race o rama and mater national had some cool concept arts, such as otto arts (you can find them on google) then the stickered otto (or whatever the name was) 16:29 also that white car's is an evo 9. Thats interesting to see an jdm icon being a cars character. You missed one thing from race o rama, there was an unused dinoco mcqueen monster truck (he had textures, but it was messed up) 19:12 why does the trailer of C2TVG has a little bit advanced graphics than the original box 360 one? (also some people found Lewis's in-game body in a unused track, and thankfully they modded it to the original game) 22:20 for some reason it's just my stupid brain or mcquen looks like the cars 1 test animation's mcqueen Probably the best Cars related content for this year, you earned yourself a sub buddy for this awesome vid.

If the first cars game got a remastered version it would be awesome if we can play the unused races minigames and the other stuff.

Seeing Cars 1 McQueen getting scrapped from cars 2 pissed me off so bad that was my favorite Lightning McQueen design

Mater's Countdown Cleanup is not unused, however if i recall correctly it's only in certain versions of the game and is unlocked using cheat codes edit: the "tow mater" instructions screen may be an early version of the one for Countdown Cleanup, that minigame is also the only one that is arcade mode only and lacks a cutscene

I was hyped for the cars 2 game as a kid bc even tho the movie was eh to me I thought that the game would be better, thought the game would be like cars 1 video games, so I was excited and then I was let down.. I was extremely disappointed.. and then the fact that they did the same thing to cars 3?😭 no more video games like cars 2! I also forgot about the video games for cars 2 and 3, but the cars 1 video games was my childhood!!

Off-topic but Cars-related at the same time: Did you know that there's going to be a trailer for Cars in The Incredibles video game? It's true! In the July 19th, 2004 GameCube build of The Incredibles in the Extras, you can see a selection for the trailer for Cars along with the following FMVs not seen in the final product THQ Coming (Probably to advertise another THQ published game or the first Cars game itself since it was advertised and planned for a Fall 2005 release on the manual just like the movie before delay and probably too late to replace manuals with new ones without Cars advertisement) Teaser (The teaser for The Incredibles) and Another Promo (Probably for another THQ published game or a promo for Incredibles toys and merchandise at the time) Sadly, but understandably these four FMVs play variations of the E3 trailer for The Incredibles game itself just with stuff like "work in progress", timer and GCN overlay. I assume the Trailer and Behind the Scenes FMVs function like the final product.
