very cool to see one of the Rettig Bros cars racing. people I raced with/against in the 70s in California, Sacramento/Fremont lot of memories there and the Rettig Bros. held several NHRA records. (awesome to see the original paint on the car too)

Very cool!

In my younger years I saw The Rettig Brothers at Sacramento Raceway all the time. The car was a favorite of mine. It's great to see it again, still alive and racing, looking as good, if not better.

Now this it what i call drag racing where you have many makes models of cars unlike today pretty much everything looks same

Memories of 1966. A neighbor ran a 64 Plymouth factory AFX car. Aluminum front end and bumpers, 426 Max Wedge, got close to 130 mph in the quarter mile.

Great! Great! Great! Fantastic cars! And, you could really get the personality and attitude of the drivers! Just awesome!

unreal fun n noise seen this in so cali my whole life. u guys pay so much for gas. props aussie guys draggracing. fifty years ago gas was twenty five cents

Asphalt Elephant, what a screamer, love Repeat Offender a lot but the little Rumbler....yes-sir-re-dee....back in the early 70s had 1969 AMC Hurst SC/Rambler Scrambler.......one of many I would love to have back.....great video, editing was primo! I really do enjoy watching your videos AMC9L

What happened to all of the old Pontiacs that used to run with your group???

This is real racing with real cars.. Who wants to see a Datsun with a turbo race a honda civic with 2 turbos,,, Our strip is full of garbage like that. All the old guys must have dies and got burried with their cars. SS/A used to have 57 chev 2 doors wheelstanding out of the hole and running hilbourne injected 283,s and cars just like this video.
