The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

    Have always liked Carrot Top. The variety of the hits and misses of his props makes me appreciate his tenacity. One of the greats. Also seems kind natured.

    I love carrot top. It’s awesome how good he is at reading a crowd and he really feeds off of it. He will actually slightly change the direction of his act based on crowd reactions to jokes. Going to see him in a few weeks again in Vegas!!

    @@westonadams7135 it was an awesome show! He took us through the timeline of his career and showed us the gags that got him to where he’s at, he also talked about his creative process and even told the story of the time he lost on starsearch in the 90s lmao

    experience at work, he knows how to get them chuckling even if they don’t want to…unlike some comedians he’ll try to improve on the fly and not get upset at the crowd for not “understanding” or “getting” him

    He has several comedy videos of him roaming around on the internet of him without props. He's a good confident story teller. Which is half of what makes a good comic. He's cornered the prop comedy market and has done a damn good job at that. Dude is a millionaire.

    The cool thing about his shows, are that you are usually the first to see his legendary props, and it's like an experiment or improv, so you are realizing that even giant stars fuck up, and see that most jokes don't make it to the top, we always think that every famous artist just spews out bangers, but it probably takes them a few hundred tries before anything hits the star mark.

    I enjoyed watching this every time it came on 📺 and we would all stay up as late as we could until we fell asleep. As soon as we wake up in the morning we would turn this and eat our breakfast while watching this. Somebody needs to get this back on television, the way it use to every year.
