Mitsy is so sweet, and Carrington, you are so real. I was really worried for you guys and how you would take the ban since it has been a huge part of your base and got you guys to where you are now. I definitely feel a lot of what Mitsy is talking about and how it will hurt small businesses and independent artists. I'm sure, Mitsy, you will survive this, tho, with all the skills you've gained from your caricatures and the brand you created for yourself if it actually ever does come to TikTok getting banned. As for Carrington, I already know that you will be fine. You have already shown that you are capable enough to diversify and succeed in other platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat. You have already shown that you were great enough to overcome any of the problems that have come your way. You were already wise enough with your money that I'm confident you will be fine. But just in case, this is reassurance that I will still watch you on all your other platforms, and I'm sure many will follow, too, if TikTok does get banned cause that is the brand you have built for yourself. Anyway, I love you, Carrington and the video, and I look forward to part 2 and what you guys have to say still. Maybe I'll add my own thoughts on the ban in the next video!

I don't really use tiktok but it's a bummer cause they're obviously doing this for political reasons, and not because of China having information on Americans but because it not being owned by American companies means there is not the usual censorship controlling what's being shared. That means there's more freedom but also that there's better content because people are more free and content becomes popular simply because it's good. The algorithm is also better from what I understand. Tik Tok creators can move to other platforms but there's a reason TikTok blew up more than other apps, and it's not just because of the format, it's because the app is better than others, and once they move to other platforms they'll eventually end up adapting to those platforms which will limit their content. Even if you do content that wouldn't get censored, if people have to be conscious that they might do something that would get them banned it will affect their content. KZread is still pretty good but it doesn't have the sense of being fresh and spontaneous like it was 10 years ago, which is how TikTok has been for the last generations. I can see twitter becoming more active in the next few years since it seems Musk has big plans for it and it's still pretty similar to how it was before so far, and if they integrate some of the things instagram does it could be a pretty fun platform
