90% of the time I don't stay for the final scores, BUT PLEASE KEEP SHOWING THEM. Most games it's obvious the winner had more money, spent more, money, then won. But occasionally, you'll get a funky game like this one and I DO find it interesting to check out the score; especially when the victor was behind in economy.

Call me greedy, I want to see the Zerg goo trifecta Snare, Acid, and Plague, all at once!

I never was good at starcraft but watching it is very entertaining, ty for casting, your comments are very helpful for someone who is inexperienced in the game.

@@TheFlyingZulu yeah it is micro intensive. You gotta have high APM to pull it off, and yes you do have to neglect macro long enough to spam 3 or 4 separate dwebs by selecting individual corsairs in the midst of combat. But if done right, especially near ramps or better yet in the midst of your opponent's simcity, you are guaranteed to wipe everything out with minimal damage to your reavers or carriers.

Jaedong robbed us of a final epic battle smh! :)

30:18 what's weird to me is he still had 3k minerals in the bank... plenty to rebuild hatcheries, drones and with hydras only 25 gas... it seems weird he tapped out here. But he knows more than I do. lol

I confess, most of the times I close the video before the final score screen, I watch mainly for the game play and the awesome commentary. I do have a auto-like plugin that auto-likes any video I watch beyond the 75% mark, and I comment every now and then when I see a reason for it... like now. OK, this time I watched the score screen because I took too long to write this message.

Been watching your videos a lot lately. Finding a good original StarCraft commentary is tough. Keep up the awesome job!

15:11 - daaam cool burrow! I like how zerg players use this ability for save units, for spy scouting or make many traps!

DWeb for the win! 😊 Love to see it. Next I'm waiting to see a game where someone actually uses Devourers as support for Muta, instead of overproducing the Devourers themselves.

This game was so fun! Was so refreshing and like you said crazy fun haha

The score screen is great. I usually skip it but certain games and moods cause me to want to dig in and get that view too

What a fun game, both players used some unorthodox and underrated tactics. Very abrupt ending tho.

Great one, I appreciate even as a Jae Dong fan ! Congrats to Free for this unorthodox style. Corsair/reavers might still be good after all if it's done fast like this, bypassing zealot speed, templars, etc. And I certainly didn't anticipate a carrier transition. Jae Dong reacted fairly well from what I can tell. Interestingly, I think it's the first time I see the build of a greater spire as a reaction rather than as a planned strategy. Finally it came close, it was the thing to do, it was fun to watch. As a Zerg fan, everytime Zerg go for greater spire, I'm like : crap, it will miserably fail like every other game... I'm surprised professional Zerg still try that.

What a game ZvP with carriers

Jaedong could have plagued that ball of corsairs O_o. I am wondering what the koreans can do with the map editor, what if they changed the cost of units based on map like flying units would be more expensive in "air maps". I wonder if you can build buildings to "air block", or maybe have a building to protect marines from psi-storm.

Plague definitely wouldve been useful - plagued corsairs or carriers. Jaedong was banking minerals as well add in plague and adrenal could've taken down bases or bits of defence away from the main fight

I feel like some of the units need new names. Steve the scv is fine but Robert the zealot? Terri the overlord? Idk bout those. George the overlord and Robert the reaver maybe. But that’s just my option of course

Corsairs are pretty squishy, but I guess otherwise they'd be OP

played similar match and plague was game changer for me. carriers died in seconds :)

I would like to request more non standart games like this. Maybe games on a lower skill level? Wierd air maps like this? As amazing as korean pros are- watching same strategies over and over again can become less exciting.

Plus he lost the fight when he was up 40 supply. He was down 30 supply and losing his newest source of income when he gg'd. Plus his unit comp as you pointed out. I think he was hoping Free wouldn't attack that quickly so he can rebuild. Low chance of that happening but worth a shot.

This is so sick. Zerg just goes 9 pool. Now if you don't scout it and you go nexus before 2 cannons you just die to 6 lings. If you scout it you have to go double cannon before you know what comes out of the 3 eggs hatching so it could be 2 lings and 2 drones for all you know but you have to make them cannons regardless and with that your nexus is up NEXT EFFIN YEAR. Not to mention how late your gateway is going to be! And on map like this you have to even put an additional cannon up at the back door. So waste more money on that. And why? Just because zerg made 9 pool. Does this slow zerg down at all? Nope he can just drone like a madman behind and double expand. Nothing has happened and protoss already lost the game! I actually have not watched beyond the very start but this is my prediction. At least it's gonna be uphill battle.

ZvP is my least favorite matchup. So unbalanced. Storm and reavers own ground zerg and zerg doesn't have a viable air response to air Protoss. Scourge get sniped before they even get close to a group of corsairs and devourers attack is shit. Lets have a TvZ!

I mean it’s easier for Zerg to kill Protoss in early to mid game

god this map is awful

I stopped watching this channel a year or so ago because overall your commentary was just play-by-play with annoying goofy noises mixed in and completely clueless of the game state (you didn't realize an expansion in the middle of the map for a good 5 minutes, you offer zero insight into build orders or what the opponent is going for, etc). Sad to see this has not improved much at all since then. Back to Artosis for the only good SC1 commentary I suppose... this channel is pretty much unwatchable.

I'm not part of "Artosis' community" any more than I am part of "ESPN community" for professional sports. It's just nice to have a game commentated by someone that takes it seriously, prepares for the job, and doesn't have a tenuous grasp on the sport at best. Not the biggest Artosis fan, but at least he knows wtf he's talking about.

@@FalconPaladin while i do think the feedback was quite harsh, i must say i have to agree with at least some of it. In particular, i think the way you "force" on the narration seems quite fake and it throws me off a bit, i wish you did it in a more natural way. I'm a long time subscriber and wish for you to keep posting these as there are tons of great games that you cast that i would otherwise not even be aware of, but i do think you should take some of this feedback from folks seriously instead of outright dismissing it all. Thanks for bringing us these great matches though, much appreciated.

@@julealgon Yea you're right, I didn't express myself in the nicest way. The point is, I want to like FP. I love watching BW and I want to watch other videos from people casting it. But there just seems to be no improvement from when I last watched it, and that is a shame. He has his audience so obviously some people like his commentary... but it wouldn't hurt to become better at it.

Dude, you can be clueless sometimes. Three minutes before the end, and you're still calling it a JD victory. The map was split in half, and Protoss is way more cost effective. Do the maths. JD was fighting with the skin of his teeth to make something happen, and it obviously wasn't working.

i have a advise for you falcon paladin , you shouldn't be change gamers in game army of color, please keep its original🥲
