Carrie was answering a reporter's question without answering it directly. A reporter asked Carrie can you do a rock and roll type song. Every other reporter there looked at him like are you serious? Because all of those reporters there knew Carrie could. Which is why Carrie didn't answer it. Carrie did this song.

I caught the interview and it was nice to hear coming out of Carrie's mouth instead of a reporter you know. No problem have a good one.

Carrie doesn't except Axl to sing one of her songs. A year earlier a young reporter who didn't do his homework, told Carrie she couldn't do a song like this. Which is why Carrie did this performance. Which is why reporters no longer ask Carrie if she can do certain type of songs, they know she can.

She can sing anything and I think hard rock like this is actually her best genre....

Carrie answered a question by a reporter without answering it. A young reporter said you are one genre type singer. Which a lot of veteran reporters looked at him like, why say that. Carrie didn't get upset. It just inspired Carrie to do this performance. And reporters since then, never said it to Carrie again. In other words. Reporter got lesson learned.

People were saying why would Carrie a rock song at a country music festival. I think people were shocked at how well, Carrie did it. Audience sure didn't mind it at all. And I notice her critics were like, okay, Carrie can do a rock song without a problem. And they stopped saying Carrie you can't do this type of song or that type of song. They have come to realize she can.

I have a hunch if Splash would have been there. He would have left Carrie do it solo and not do that. I think he would said Carrie was doing excellent job on her own.

So she can rap (champion and see you again mash up), sing gospel with so much heart, rock to g n r, and kill every country song. Not to mention the whole gorgeous thing.This was 8 years ago! Shes gotten even better.

She idolizes Steven and axl but never takes them boots off a country girl with nothing but a dream look at her now an inspiration to us all, luv ya girl!

The reason this is so good is because she sings it like she means it. You can see the commitment. Brilliant!

Carrie has natural high power in her vocals. Which I say Carrie could fit in the rock and roll genre with ease. She doesn't have to generate extra power, she has natural already.

I have watched this over and over, Axel and Slash would be going crazy!

She killed this! Guns N Roses is my favorite Rock band ever. And this is my favorite song from GNR. Carrie is definitely a die hard Guns fan. I love it. 🤘

Her performance was surprisingly good and I noticed she took a lot of pointers from Axl. A lot of her moves reminded me of how Axl was in the early days and to a point today.

Man...she killed it!!! Just watched her perform it again with Axel a couple of weeks ago at the stagecoach and man it is good to see him still going and doing good!! She knows how to rock!!!!
