Beautiful. Both women are phenomenal. Still, my favorite was when she performed 'How Great Thou Art' with Vince Gill. I still listen to that about once a week. It fills my soul.

But not all her songs are for the kingdom of God. U are speaking truth. No hate here just know that Jesus is coming for believers that are true to HIM. NOT half way. The Lord be with you all. Praying for all.

This is.... This is her most iconic moment. Times are bleak, but she's being the definition of a light in the world. Just a girl on a stage singing for Jesus with her whole heart, giving her talent back to God. Carrie was like "y'all don't know it but y'all about to meet my Savior" and I can't believe she made me cry just by singing a medley of songs I've sung all my life. Guys even the theme came through across the songs...Amazing grace means full dependence on His faithfulness and so she will thank Jesus and for the Old Rugged Cross which is greater than any possible award (*cough*amc*cough*) and sing with her soul to the glory of God and await with hope for His acclaimed return which we long for as we see the world falling apart. She said Look what God has done and praise Him! Give HIM the glory!

Literally 99% won’t see this but I lost my job due to covid. They shut down all the restaurants in Cook county which then led me to loosing my apartment. I'm currently living out of my car which I try and make the best of. I've applied to a bunch of places I'm hoping to get a call back. if anyone could help me with whatever you could bc I'm needing stuff like hand warmers which I stuff my clothes at night when it's cold. Also cheap burgers/fastfood. What a gift we were given when Carrie decided to try out for American Idol, and when she was crowned the winner. Her voice is a once in a lifetime voice. I love being her fan. It’s an honor.

Glory be to God. We all needed this performance after a horrible year. Wow Carrie you blew it out of the water. I’m 57 yo and sang all of these songs in church from the time I was little. Hello there Thanks for your love and support that has brought me this far, it has been a hard time for me going through this but your love and support keeps me going and standing strong in this difficult times. I do read your heartwarming comments and I truly appreciate all you’ve done for me throughout the years. You are absolutely correct! Soon every knee will now and I just pray with all my heart that if anyone reading this and aren’t sure if they believe in Christ as their Savior I plead and beg them to humbly seek Jesus. He will open your eyes and led Him if only you seek. I almost died a couple of years ago after a surgery and I saw Him... he is very real and I assure you there is more than just this world. Literally 99% won’t see this but I lost my job due to covid. They shut down all the restaurants in Cook county which then led me to loosing my apartment. I'm currently living out of my car which I try and make the best of. I've applied to a bunch of places I'm hoping to get a call back. if anyone could help me with whatever you could bc I'm needing stuff like hand warmers which I stuff my clothes at night when it's cold. Also cheap burgers/fastfood. To sing a cappella for almost a minute and end perfectly in key with the first note of the piano is why this woman is head and shoulders above

@@bobdylansdaughter even professional singers after that long of a verse will become slightly sharp or slightly flat in terms of instrumentals, it’s very hard to perfectly match pitch of a piano after that long of a vocal solo, usually a singer adjusts slightly once the music starts, doesn’t mean they’re singing off key, it’s just a pitch frequency adjustment

Some singers have a track playing in their in ear monitors that the audience can not hear. Not to diminish her talent (totally NOT my intention), she is an amazing singer, but there are tricks of the trade that aren't obvious to most folks.

I'm agnostic. But this gave me chills and tears. Her voice is beyond perfect. There aren't even words the harmonies with her and CeCe winans were breathtaking The Gospel choir with them the same but the parts where it was just carry no music completely acapella were breathtaking. It's easy to forget if you don't hear her live for a little while absolutely freaking amazing she is and I'd also love to know where she hides that third lung in her tiny little body. STOP TRYING TO SAVE ME. I HAVE NO DESIRE. PERFECTLY HAPPY THANKS. I enjoy the art. That's all.

I tell you straight from heaven, you just have to believe. He enters into your heart, or you revive to knowing He never left since you first believed, because He never leaves us from the first time we believe.
