I cannot believe I am watching this little girl that blossomed from a contestant on a tv show to this mega star that is so full of Christ love. Thank you for keeping Jesus first and remembering that putting him first is why you are so successful and giving him all the glory!. God bless.

That song has been an alter song in churches for many many years. I am 76 years old and it was sang at the end of the message from the pastor if anyone wanted to come to the alter and give their heart to Jesus! Love that song and so many old gospel songs!

I love this song especially when your heart and true soul &faith is in it Amen❤❤

I remember reading shortly after this event that she had just suffered a miscarriage. Lots of emotions going on. Such a beautiful soul with so much God given talent.

I can't believe that she sang this song after she suffered miscarriage!!!!!!! We. Suffered 2 miscarriages, and it was so incredibly painful 😢 💔!!!! But through our Dear Heavenly Father Blessed us with 3 more sons 🙏 ❤️ 💙!!! Thank you our Lord God Almighty 🙏❤️😊💙!!!!!

So this morning I was in tears, missing my husband who passed two years ago after a long illness. Yes he lingered and here I was praying to God to PLEASE, take him because the suffering was awful. I am glancing through youtube when this song came up and it says everything I was feeling and I cried. He is in a much better place, yet for me knowing that and still missing him is so hard. God heard me this morning and offered comfort and for that, I am grateful. Thank you Lord, thank you for the time I shared with him and for giving Carrie such a wonderful voice to remind us all through song how great Thou art!

Jesus called my baby brother home last July. (He was 41) this song hit me squarely in the chest. I miss you so much Mikey. You are so missed and so loved

I can't help but come back to this, and also How great thou art with Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill. Both are just beautiful and they really touch your heart and soul.

It's so refreshing to see a Hollywood celebrity standing in the middle of a massive arena praising the Lord of hosts. I am reminded of that which is written; Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Prov 22:6 Even if they become celebrities in a very dark place, let their light shine!

@Danica Danica, Yes, Hollywood! Carry Underwood is a big HOLLYWOOD star! She received her Hollywood Star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, back in 2018. That alone qualifies her! She routinely records all her music in the Capitol Records Building, located in none other than Hollywood, Ca. You can see her perform live show in Las Vegas, at the Resorts World Theater. Although she owns a home in a small town in Oklahoma, she doesn't stay there very often. Blake Shelton will be getting his star later this year, just thought you should know.

I love singing from my heart a gospel song wether I'm by myself or singing for a congregation of people ain't nothing like feeling God's presence and God's holy anointing. 😊

It will be 18 years on June 15th of this year that we lost my baby sister to a suicide death at the age of 33. This song was played at her funeral, and it helps me to remember how weary she was and brings me comfort to know she is at home.💔

This is how Carrie is meant to sing...A gift from God...please don't forget who gave you that fabulous angelic voice ..sing don't scream .

This was the song that they always played at the Billy Graham Crusades. The invitation for people to give their lives to Christ.

It amazes me how solemn a song a song and how solemnly she is singing it and they just kept yelling and interrupting her. She was doing such a precious and sincere performance. You could tell it was from her heart. I don't know if I have ever heard it done so beautifully. She was honoring the Lord and showing Him so much love I truly enjoyed listening to her. I just wish the audience would have shown some respect and control while she was singing. Carrie, you show such a tender and sweet spirit. God bless you.

There was a video showing all the people who had passed away that year in country music, that's what the audience was reacting to, in the end they showed the pics of the people who were killed in the Las Vegas shooting, that's when Carrie cried

If my comment was offending in anyway, I apologize. With the audience crying out like they were, it just seemed like they could have shown a little more restraint while she was singing. The song was so awesome the way she was singing that I was wanting to just listen to her and be still or meditate.

@@shelbyhecox Don't know what you are talking about but, whatever, what she was singing about was not our point. She can sing the phone book and our spirits detect the spirit of God in her as she sings. Even one word from her mouth would do that.
