As a Professional Floor Care Maintenance Tech. for over 15 years, you didn't do that bad. The only things I can add is after vacuuming carpet hit the WHOLE THING WITH THE PRESSURE WASHER. Woolite directions ARE WRONG, it leaves a HELL OF A LOT OF RESIDUE in the carpet, " AS YOU SAID FEELS STICKY ". When applying Laundry Det. too the carpet use a sprayer, garden sprayer works great. You can mix it 50/50 with water & even put some fabric softener in it, let it sit 15 mins. then use your drill brush " very nice set you've found ". Let that sit for 10 mins. or so then pressure wash & use SHOP VAC to get excess water out, ICE SCRAPER KILLED ME ( LMAO ) but I have to admit it took quite a bit of water out, but USE SHOP VAC. PLEASE. One you Shop Vac. the carpet use a WHITE TOWEL & go over the carpet ( WHILE IT'S STILL DAMP ) it will pick up the top layer of dirt if there's any left you'll see it on the towel. If you have a fan dry the carpet that way or in the HOT SUN if you don't. I give you 8 out of 10 for a DIY GUY but WOOLITE SCREWED YOU & it's NOT YOUR FAULT. One more thing, WHEN DRY VACUUM CARPET AGAIN.

I do my carpets and seats with Spray Nine, brings them back to as-new condition. Also works great on rubber and vinyl mats, where you let it soak and rinse with a good pressure washer. Gives plastics a nice, natural finish if you wipe it off with a microfiber towel before it dries, otherwise it tends to leave a veil or film. My Comanche was supposed to have a grey interior, but every surface was brown and stained, from the last owner being a young mechanic... That stuff brought it back to its former glory!!!!

I agree with what is always cheapest and easiest. I do however wish the laundry soap had an auditory response 😂. I personally used Gain and it makes my YJ smell like fresh laundry!

Those drill brush sets are killer tools to have. That "toilet-brush" looking one IS great for wheels (but be careful as it does sling brake dust filled water everywhere). The quick disconnect extension is a nice touch also, especially for the price of these kits.

Not surprising. Manufacturers often make products and market them as specialized for this or that while at the same time up charging the customer. I use Simple Green on just about everything and it seems to work well.

Lilly brush to get the hair out, laundry detergent and brush then hit it with the carpet shampooer. Drags the rest of the goo out of the carpet and leaves it just as dry as the ice scraper, but even cleaner and quicker.
