Spot on. If you have to choose only one bait to use for the rest of your life ... bread without any hesitation.

Mate, that looked like a tough day. No wind and that stillness we all know about, always makes it difficult. Very well done, lots of nice hints and tips in there, respect.

I also love the idea of floatercake from Brian Skoyles his video about surface fishing. You have fun making that with your kids in the kitchen beforehand and it is a better alternative to bread since it does not break up or sinks after 1 or 2 casts.

Learnt so much from this. I’m absolutely shocking at stalking😂 Finally joined a syndicate where it’s allowed and quiet enough to be able to do it. Will be putting into practice these techniques. Alan just makes it look super easy and smooth, not convinced my results will be as affective.😂

The two lakes that memebers are acutally allowed to fish get hammered with people free lining with bread and floaters etc etc not because it dont get used that often like you say.The ghost you caught is in a stock pond that members are not allowed to fish and that one is the dumbest fish in that lake and always got caught before it was changed to a stock pond.

Sometimes, Alan will add it to his hook when breadbomb fishing to help conceal the hook. It really helps with wary carp 😁👍🏻

@@henrylennon3637 Thank you very much for your reply. We in Holland are not used to use 3LB;s rod for surface fishing. We normally use 1.5 - 2 LBS with a floater rod. But I have losed many carps as bridges etc and I think the 6FT with 3 LB would than be OK (?). I don’t want to harm the fish.

Think you missed the point there chief. Take the tactics away from it not the bait used, this can be done with a pint of maggots or a loaf of bread. Stop looking for something to moan at.
