@@CarpAngle Yeh honestly I didn’t even know you’d caught the round brown, because I’ve been away from angling for a few years, only been watching and reading it for the last couple of years again, but I’m 40 next week and getting a waggler rod and a decent little reel to go back to my roots and I’m going back to the river to start again , in the actual exact same spots of the very same river that i started fishing on some 30 years ago. I burned out on the carp scene, on big pits in the north east, angling alone, for a handful of carp per year, doing too much, for too long, obsessed and burning the candle at both ends, and I just sold up and hit the drugs and ended up so depressed, I kid you not I was laid in bed at nights for months and couldn’t sleep for thinking about the fact that I’d sold ALL of my stuff, bivvies, bedchair, rods reels alarms, stainless sticks, pods etc etc, even my Coleman stove, all my river tackle and fly fishing gear too, I had nothing to able me to go down the river for a few hours to sort my head out. But gladly I’ve got a hold of the drug situation, and been getting better fir the last year or two, particularly the last year, after I started writing poetry, it gave me a release and it helped me offload my negativity at first and then lead to more positivity and hope, and now I write about a number of things, not just real life like things, and problems, I write poetry about nature and other positive aspects of life. I’m absolutely dying to go carp fishing again though.💯 haha, one day I’ll get back into it. 🙏☮️🙏

Just found you. Honestly mate fantastic. Great fish mate. I get a terry hern vibe from you mate cracking. Love the passion hopefully one day ill be catching monster carp like that still yet to catch a 20, 19.16oz mirror 19.4 oz common is me at the moment. Want to go on this lake 😅. Surprised the fishery allow lures imagine fsil hooking a 48lbs carp. Hope it didn't rip it up too much. The lakes i go to that have pike n perch only allow dead baiting for pike to avoid fail hooking the carp .
