Loved it. Both types of angling take a lot of skill. I now fish match style as i like to be more active. However watch a lot of speci video's (especially mark pitchers) theres a lot both camps could learn from each other

Any videos with Mark “carpy” Pitchers in it - count me in👍 👍👍 I also enjoyed the other anglers, but Mr. Pitchers brings a smile to my face every time I hear his voice 🥰🤣😍😂. IMO, he’s one of UK’s best carp anglers, and more importantly, the greatest employer of sarcastic (albeit, oftentimes a bit naughty) humor ever!!! The place is full of skimmers!! Was always going to be very difficult to beat it with carp alone.

Haven't watched it yet but what a disadvantage for the match men. If they were allowed to catch carp it's no contest 😂

@@deanstyles7843 no, but the skimmers out number the carp by about a million to one, and they can be landed in seconds. Much easier to build up a weight of skimmers.

Should really halve the carp score as they had twice as many rods! Match rules: one rod.

In carp matches anglers can use two rods. Match rules for match anglers, carp "match" rules for carp anglers.

Carp boys using 4 rods against match lads 2 rods(poles)still get beat well-done Jamie/Andy💪

Some pleasure anglers are capable of big things. You don't have to be a match angler, nor do you have to be a carp angler. A top angler can turn his hand to either craft, plus is likely very adept at other disciplines such as fly fishing. Some of us go fishing for the pleasure, while others will find a compulsion to compete.

This definitely doesn't show a once and for all winner of who is better. You would have to put two anglers at separate times on the same swim same peg go back in time and swap the angler. Haha 😂
