I admit it: I was expecting the worst. However, this cover is darn near phenomenal!

This one is definitely the best Cocteau Twins cover that I've listened

It's good, but you have to listen a certain cover of "Garlands", search it...

I don’t even know what to say. Having seen this band in concert A few times in the 90s, this might as well been the actual band. the Voice really blew me out of the water. Probably one of the hardest bands to cover and replicate, you guys did this to perfection.

@@TheVideoLounge me too at Brixton Academy. The only thing missing here is the bit at the start of each song when that big bearded guy would lean over and tap a button on the drum machine to start it going.

I've never left a comment on KZread before, but I have tears in my eyes while doing so!

The Royal Society of Covers (I am sure it exists in some Kingdom ... and if not today is the day to invent it) should confer the Annual Award for Best Cover to this rendition. Really wonderful!

I truly admire your creative courage to cover the Cocteau Twins. The abstruse vocals coupled with the emulated guitar effects of Guthrie...Well done all.

This is just otherworldly and left barely able to comprehend what I’m hearing…having trouble even describing how incredible this is, it needs no explanation

Not many bands would be brave enough to cover a Cocteau's song but you guys nailed it. I've loved them since 83/84and it's lovely to see the young generation keeping the flame alive. The vocals on this is absolutely tremendous.

So spot on beautiful....there is virtually nothing more righteous and honorable than giving props to Liz by means of such a faithful and lovely cover... massively awesome job, guys...

Liz was scheduled to play in Chicago just prior to the COVID close.

Fantastic work by both guitarists, but...the real borderline-miracle of this cover is the vocalist's transcendent performance. It's not identical, but it's flawless. You got there. So well done. Thank you. Great to hear this "live."

I was 💯 hardcore metal/punk in the 80s and my best friend was too but he had other tastes as well and when he forced me to sit and listen to the entire blue bell knoll album my musical world changed! My other friends ripped on us Soo much and it sucked but me and Gary never stopped being open minded to different genres, and to that im eternally grateful to for that gift.. and we got to see them live 2x for the four calendar cafe tour..i miss him Soo much and desperately want him to see this, he would've flipped out how amazing this is! Rip my dear friend❤️

you mean of Carolyn's Fingers or all of them? CF - absolutely! I don't think Liz ever sang this track very well live but there are a lot of stellar live CT versions on youtube, check out Orange Appled or Pandora :) or this concert is pretty amazing kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5541LCsmNDUYsY.html&ab_channel=CocteauBuff that all being said, yes, this cover is great!!

A lot of the later live material suffers from the turmoil Liz and Robin's personal relationship was going through at that time. The more successful they got, the more unhappy they became as a band.

Oh my. BRILLIANT! And as musician, I KNOW how good it feels when something this good comes into existence at your hands.

Amazing! One of my all time favourite bands, great cover!!!

I had to listen to this a few times over a month to have it kind of grow on me. The delays and reverb threw me first few times, but then I started to get it.
