This album is definitely going for a gloomy and weird gothic vibe. Caroline’s vocal has this quality, I get that you don’t like it, but saying that her voice does not convey human emotion is just not it.

Going through your back-catalog, the fans are cutting here. Yes he got the Autotune wrong, yes she's a good vocalist, but its genre that not everyone will click with. Each to their own, don't expect everyone to love what you do. Its not something I'd listen to again.

I agree 100% with your take on this album but damn, Door is a GREAT song, almost as good as So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings... maybe it's a grower for you!
