Caroline Boule - Nicomatic Mini650 no.1067 walktrough
There were plenty of Mini650 in Duarnenez, but one stood out. Number 1067 is the latest Mini designed by Sam Manuard, the same nautical architect that drew Ashika II over a decade and a half ago. The difference is astounding, and the foiling capabilities of the boat might make it a fearsome weapon in future races. Sailor Caroline Boule has been kind enough to take us on a tour of her Nicomatic.

French people speaking decent English, for a chenge. Congratulations! New boat, new female mini sailor for a new age. I watched her super modern boat while she was sitting onboard talking on the phone, and next day I saw her receiving the number one prize for the first leg of the Transgascougne race. Wish her more best results like this time for this young lady in the near future. Go, go!
