The cast of this show are amazing… brilliant actors and story lines.

Love love love this couple! I was devastated when Kate was killed off! Why are the lesbians always killed off? Developing this storyline further would have been wonderful for this lovely show!

Their relationship turned out to be such a beautiful love story….. as much as I respect Sally Wainwright I don’t think I can ever forgive her for what happened to Kate. This is a story that could have blossomed into so much.

What was worse is that I read somewhere, that the one regret she had of any story she did was what she did to Kate. That killed me.

I know right. It's irrelevant but a similar thing happened in The US when Actress Ellen Parker was let go as Maureen Bauer on Guiding Light in the 1990's. Some folks feel it was the beginning of the end of The Show. She came back as a Ghost but it went off the air in 2009. Wasn't it beautiful that Kate and Caroline spent the night with each other.

and the tears after the kiss at the wedding. They are so beautiful!!

I am sick of the sphycological war waged against lesbian women by imprinting mostly disastrous endings to characters represented on screen. So very negative on the spychy.

Sarah Lancashire played the the most beautifully convincing lesbian I think I’ve seen. She’s soft, gentle and strong at the same time. Unless you’ve been there and felt that sort of passion..the sort that makes you feel like your drowning in her eyes or makes your breath catch in your throat..it’s all just imagination.

Sally Wainwright is a brilliant screenwriter and I was devastated when she decided to finish the series. There never seems to be any positive lesbian storylines for strong love stories these days. It’s all political and sad. We need more positivity.

Love to see mature ladies series. The aspect of a sexual relationship is wonderful. But for me , it's the kisses. The different levels it can go to. Slow, tender, hard and out of control is a ride like no other. Especially with that special lady.
