Carolina Kluft Successfully Defends Heptathlon Gold | Gothenburg 2006 | Road To Munich 2022
Спорт
Winning European gold in the heptathlon is a fantastic achievement. Defending your title to win it a second time is outstanding. In 2006, Carolina Kluft did just that at the European Athletics Championships from Gothenburg.
The Swedish heptathlete (who was an Olympic champion) made home advantage count when it mattered most on course to winning back-to-back heptathlon titles.
Kluft's performances were so strong that she set a brand new Championship Record - scoring 6740. See just how she did it as we keep on the road to Munich 2022.

This was actually Kluft’s worst score in a championship heptathlon since 2002 when she was still a teen. And she still won easily. She was so much fun to watch.
It's somewhat symbolic to see in the first event the present day star Carolina Kluft and the future star Jess Ennis were in adjacent lanes.
11.91 in the 100m hurldes? Damn, fantastic time, lol
If only she competed in the heptathlon in Beijing 2008
she and Hicham el Guerrouj were the queen resp. the king of athletics in the time before Usain Bolt
She is' aREAL European! HER French Rival *cud* NOT comPEte?
