Carol, you are blessed to have the fortune to renovate your place. I hope that we can afford this for my grandparents. They need this badly. :(

Thank you, I am a dwarf and I'm trying to make my kitchen. More accessible to reach. And I absolutely fell in love with your kitchen. I'm going to have to search that kind of stove & pull down cabinetry along with the shorter countertop THANK YOU for sharing

An observation ... the cabinet in the prep area should have gone on the right hand side. As it is you are forced to roll under the right hand side and the work space in encroached by the coffee maker. If the cabinet was on the right instead ... you could still have the coffee maker there but it wouldn't encroach on your work space.

I am also 100% disabled as you are. There is no facility for me to be disabled in India. You are very lucky that you have been born in this country. You are not as unfortunate as me.

Thank you so much. I recently had a bka, below knee amputation and in order to go home, and be safe, modifications need to be planned. This helped a great deal. Might I ask the financial ball park of what mods for each room might cost? In New Zealand its 30thousand for a wet bathroom, start! I'd rather roll myself out in the rain, than get into that kind of debt. Any help appreciated.

+Spinal Cord Injury Alberta could you please say thank you to Carol for showing us her house. To me it shows an ideal setup especially the kitchen and so much thought has been put into everything such as the flooring which looks great btw. It must have cost a fortune, she is very fortunate to be in a position to make the changes. Unaffordable for me unfortunately but thanks for showing me the ideal. Hi from Australia, btw I am not a paraplegic but have a physical disability named, McCune Albright syndrome which gives me very fragile bones and many complications including very weak muscles and a severe scoliosis meaning I am in my wheelchair much of the time now as a 30 year old and increasingly so as I age.
