We are on the popular Carnival cruise on Carnival Valor Cruise Ship! JJ Cruise does a Carnival Valor Cruise Ship tour and Carnival Valor review of the Carnival Valor Cruise Ship zones and unique venues on Carnival Valor. We were surprised by the changes to cruising in 2023 for Carnival Cruises!
In the cruise news latest we are onboard Carnival Valor Cruise Ship 2023 New Orleans Voyage. This is our first time on this classic Carnival Cruise Ship. This is our next Carnival Cruise Ship after our the latest cruise news comes the new Carnival Celebration cruise ship with 6 zones and new things onboard. The six Carnival Celebration zones include Celebration Central, 820 Biscayne, Summer Landing, The Gateway, The Ultimate Playground and the Lido. In the Celebration Central Zone were many specialty dining venues, shopping, photos, bars and entertainment venues including Piano Bar 88, embarkation center, Celebration Central Plaza, Center Stage and Bar, Java Blue Cafe, Cherry on Top, Hipfish Accessories, Island Traders, The Carnival Store, Empress Casino, Tropicale Bar, Pixels photo gallery, Front Street Watches, Effy, Bonsai Sushi and Teppanyaki, Dreams Studio, Effy, Aquaria Bar, ChiBang! Chinese and Mexican Cuisine, and Havana Bar & Pool. In 820 Biscayne there are multiple specialty dining and bar venues including Cucina del Capitano, Bar 820, and Rudi’s Seagrill as well as complimentary dining venues including Miami Slice and Deco Deli as well as Carnival Adventures and Guest Services. The Gateway tour included specialty dining and bars such as Emeril’s Bistro 1397, Carnival Kitchen, The Golden Jubilee and Latitudes Bar as well as one of the main dining rooms Carnivale Restaurant. Summer Landing neighborhood tour included Guy’s Pig and Anchor, The Watering Hole, Heroes Tribute Lounge, Port Side Liquor and Tobacco, the Patio and the Patio Pool. Spanning Decks 17-19, we toured the Ultimate Playground which included all the classic Fun Zone outdoor features such as Mini Golf, Water Works, jogging track, SportSquare, Sports Court, Ropes Course, BOLT Ultimate Sea Coaster and Guy’s Burger Joint. On everyone’s favorite The Lido Tour includes the RedFrog Tiki Bar, Blue Iguana Cantina, Seafood Shack, Street Eats and the Beach Pool. We had the incredible opportunity to sail Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Adventure of the Seas FIRST sailing out of Nassau, Bahamas on June 12th, 2021. We were also onboard the FIRST sailing out of the US on Celebrity Edge on June 26th, 2021. Celebrity Cruise Lines was the first major North American cruise line that sailed from a North American port since March 2020. We were also on the first Carnival cruise out of Florida on July 4th Carnival Horizon sailing. We were on the Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship maiden voyage sailed on July 31st, 2021.

the valor was my first cruise experience back in 06. i had a blast! i was only 15 but enjoyed myself. i LIVED in the arcade. i found a small window that served food & was hooked on grilled pastrami sandwiches. great time would love to do it again now that i’m an adult.

The Valor and Freedom are both Conquest class so yes, the layout is the same.

Great tour! Fun to see vids come out about a cruise I was actually on. One thing though, my understanding of the Conquest class ships pools is that the aft pool is adults only, the Lido is not, and I believe the "Dolphins pool" is more of a splash pad type of thing. The whole trip I called the faces in the atrium the Dead Presidents lol They came complete with creepy flashlights under their chins.

Your right, we have sailed the Valor several times and our 14-15 year old girls and several kids have swam in the center lido pool. Only the aft pool is adults only pool.

Thinking of cruising the Valor. From the video it looks like a “calmer” bunch of cruisers, not the wild party ships often in the news. I hope I’m right!

We were surprised by the amount of fist-time cruisers onboard though we believe that is partially due to the port being out of NOLA. ☺️
We’re going on a carnival criuse for the summer
You stated the Argonaut Pool was for 18 and above (the pool between the Red Frog and the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar) but it is for everyone. The only pool for 18 and above is the pool with the roof that closes. Maybe you could put a note to correct that because it will confuse people. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that main pool, the argonaut, is for kids. It might be the aft pool is adult only but I thought they made all pool be for everyone a couple years back.

Yes, main Argonaut Pool is all ages. The pool in the AFT by Seafood Shack is 18+. I misspoke and meant to say that pool is not 18+ and the other pool is 18+. Thanks for clarifying. Definitely a brain thinking one thing and mouth saying another thing 😉

Ship doesn’t always have to be new to be good or just have fun
So disappointing that people with physical limitations are excluded from so many areas, I have a family member that would enjoy watching the others participate in sports, or mini golf, but I guess according to many cruise ships, they aren’t worth the effort.
Looking at these decks compared to royal is depressing. Why is that pool deck so bland. Where’s the color and fun? It looks old, pale, dated
