My husband loved the chicken parmigiana and we both still dream of the arancini. Lunch is kinda meh, but dinner is sooooo good.

I really ebjoyed your food review. I would like to know if you are allowed to take extra foid back to your cabin? I will be taking my first cruise. I am disabled and wouldn't be able to always leave the cabin so it would be a blessing if food was allowed to be taken out.

You can take as much food as you’d like! 😂 The only place you may not be able to is at the specialty restaurants (paid). There are small refrigerated coolers in each stateroom but keep in mind they are designed for beverages so storing any perishable food in there for more than a few hours wouldn’t be recommended. Easy to grab shelf stable items that are great are: cereal boxes at breakfast, cookies or dessert, breads, muffins, whole fruit like bananas or apples. Room service is also available 24/7 but there is a fee ($8 last I saw but it may have increased by now) so if you do use it, order as much as you want at once so you only need to pay the room service delivery one time. Breakfast can also be ordered to your stateroom by placing a door hanger outside with your order filled out on it. There is a complimentary list of offerings, think continental like pastries, cereal, coffee, etc. that do not have a service fee but you should still tip the delivery person of course. I always pack a stack of zipper food bags when I travel. They come in handy when you have leftover food or want to grab a snack for later so I highly recommend giving that a try. Enjoy your first cruise! I warn you though, it is highly addictive once you get that cruising bug!

😂 I guess that’s a fair assessment! I don’t have a big appetite anymore so I tend to stick to things I know I do like so I can enjoy what I do eat and not waste a lot of food. I do try to taste a few new things every trip but always gravitate to the tried and true ones after being on so many cruises and having a pretty good idea of what they do well that I like.
