Although the entire cruise was exciting, going back to my country after so many years; had me feeling like a kid in a candy store! It was our first indoor sail away party, and we were happy we still had one despite the weather. Thanks for watching 😊😎🎥

I’ve done back-to-back cruises on Magic and a couple of other Carnival ships. From what cruise directors told me, the procedure used depends on the port, the captain, and to a large extent US Customs. Basically, customs has to make sure that everyone has either left the ship, or has checked out with Carnival. Most of the times, I just went through customs in the terminal and got right back on. In another case, all of the back-to-back met in the MDR, customs boarded the ship, cleared us, and that was it. The bar served us champagne as a thanks for booking. I always call Carnival before I leave for the first cruise, and contact the service desk sometime during the first week to confirm the cruises are linked. If you’re changing cabins, let your steward know and they will have the luggage moved to your new cabin.

Our first back to back they ushered us off and brought us right back on. We’ve also heard of instances where a customs officer comes onboard and clears the b2b guests on the ship. This time we had to go all the way out of the terminal to meet our six year old granddaughter and bring her onboard so the process was a bit unorthodox for us. I am going on this ship in December and I got off the Mari gras last year and I was on the original ship of the Mari gras and this is my 20th cruise loved Shaqs big chicken on the Mari gras i can’t wait to see half moon cay and this is my second time going to amber cove and grand Turks
