I have a cruise in a little over two weeks on this boat, thanks for the review

We're booked on the Magic in May. This will be my second time. We last cruised on her in 2018. We loved her. I hope they get things put back together.

Thanks for confirming and admitting that you will NOT SAIL the Carnival Magic again until the ship has been fixed. This is critical information so other viewers can also avoid the Carnival Magic.

We had a blast on our 10 day on the Magic back in June ‘23 from Norfolk.

We are going in November. Hope it's.....

We see Carnival as a floating bar with a olace to sleep.. in a few weeks will be our fifth Cruise in the past two years on Carnival and we see exactly why it's so cheap to cruise on them.. we call it lipstick on a pig

That’s strange about the maintenance issues. We were just on The Elation, a MUCH older ship, and it was very well main. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great info!! She may have to head to dry dock considering she slammed into the pier today and is damaged. 🤞it all gets fixed soon.

How long has it been since you sailed on the magic? We sail on it in 4 more days. We have sailed on the Carnival Breeze twice before which is the Magics sister ship. Now We sailed on the Carnival sunshine 3 different times and i notice the shower floods in some of their showers also but no biggy really. Yeah alot of these older ships definitely need some repairs.

We were just on in November. Overall we had a great cruise. We also have never stayed in a lower deck so that could have been a contributing factor as to why the shower backed up. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

Hey guys good information. However I am confused with your closing summary - if you like Carnival and know that Carnival has tons of ships and offerings why would you want to sail with the Carnival Magic despite all the serious cons you mentioned? Why would anyone want to pay even a single dollar to be treated to some of the cons you mentioned. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL UNLESS SOMEONE IS PAYING YOU OR YOU HAVE SOME HIDDEN INCENTIVE!

No one is paying us. Despite the cons, we still had a good trip and made the best of our situation. We would definitely prefer to sail on the Magic again after it’s had a refresh. We have no hidden incentive. Thanks for the inquiry

Looking forward to our next time on the magic, hopefully we don’t have these issues like flooding as we had that on liberty too.
