I have been on this ship. One thing we did for free is going outside at night in the front of the ship near the mini golf. Lean back on the angled glass and look up at the stars. We were able to see a shooting star. It was the highlight of the entire cruise. The sad part is we didn't discover it until the last night.

My daughter and I cruised on Elation around seven or eight years ago when we took a vacation to New Orleans. It was a nice way to break up our week in Louisiana by taking a four-night cruise. It was before they drydocked her and installed the water park stuff and that Blue Iguana and the Cantina on the pool deck. What i liked about it was like having two cruises in one. It took like eight hours to get from New Orleans to the Gulf of Mexico, which was the same thing as taking a river cruise. I loved it, passing all of the cargo ships and tankers, the oil pumps shooting flames into the sky. We really enjoyed that ship, with good service and decent food. I'm glad they haven't discarded her yet, as one would with an older, less capable lover.

This is the only cruise I've ever been on, back somewhere between 2003 or 2004. It was the summer before 2nd or 3rd grade, we went to Belize, Cozumel, and 1 other location, which I can't remember, good times. I would love to get the full experience now as an adult.

Wife and I will be on this ship in 8-days 20-hours and 0-minutes. Can't wait. We usually go out of NOLA on the Valor, been on the Breeze out of Galveston, this is our first time out of Jacksonville and on the Elation. I watched the tour mainly to see which deck was the highway. We're so used to the Valor and know it's deck 5. The only reason I hate trying different ships is the amount of time it takes us to find our way around. This tour and the deck plans are appreciated. Can not wait! Now it's 8-days 19-hours and 56-minutes. 🙂

Elation is one of only two survivors of Carnival's Fantasy class kill off. I'm glad it finally got the Water Works upgrades. Back in the day, I hated when I'd get bumped from Fantasy to Elation, because it lacked the water slides. Hope I can sail either this ship or Paradise at least one more time before they're retired.

Had a marvelous cruise last week on Elation. But the advertised ext balcony suite U90 - which states it has a whirlpool bath..........does not. No jets - no whirlpool. And extremely difficult to get in and out - with the sliding door on the tub. But kudos to Armando - our room steward, for making everything nice and tidy for us!

I'm going on the Mardi Gras at Halloween. Just booked the Elation the week before. So I walk off one ship and onto the next. From the smallest ship in the fleet to the largest. Can't wait!

I have been on this exact boat and one thing that he missed is the free ice cream😊

Thanks for confirming my memory. Last time I was on Elation it didn't have the Waterworks package. Water Works is one of the best features of the Fantasy class ships.

She just now started her Sea Trials. She looks quite a bit different from above thanks the other four Oasis Class ships.

Interesting fact, Carnival Elation was the first cruise ship built with Azipod thrusters rather than conventional shaft propellers.

That's an interesting age, since the kids club ends at 17. I think they'll enjoy the WaterWorks slides (I know I do), mini golf or just chilling at the pool. There's also a video arcade and there will be all ages activities scheduled throughout the day that they can take part in. If they like to eat, this ship has Guy's Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Pirate Pizza, Carnival Deli and unlimited soft-serve.

Hi Danniella, thanks for watching. Launderettes are located on Deck 6 across from stateroom: U-154, 2-3 washers, 2 -3 dryers, 1 iron and ironing board and soap dispenser machine - Deck 7 across from stateroom: E-2, 2-3 washers, 2 -3 dryers, 1 iron and ironing board andsoap dispenser machine.
