Please come back & leave a review video. I booked it for Dec 24 but considering canceling after seeing all the videos about it

I live in Pensacola, Florida. My husband, 2 teenage sons, ages 16 and 13, and our 7 year old daughter. we are cruising on this ship on the 4th of July. We will have a room like yalls. That is good to know there will be a cot for p our 7 year old! Thanks so much for this video!

It may be a small ship, but I think it’s beautiful. I am sailing on Elation in 2024

Embarkation Day never gets old. The Fantasy Class of Ships has a special place in our hearts. It was our first class of ship. I'm so happy to hear they added Water Works. Can't wait to see part 2.

Elation was my first cruise. I have a soft spot for her and I'm glad they didn't sell her. I see they got rid of the really awful decor and she looks pretty good.

Yeah Carnival stopped for a while due to Covid but they started back up about 6 months ago!

Hello to the whole entire MH Family 👋👋 I hope you all enjoyed your cruise. I haven't been on the Elation in a few years. I like the older ships. They are more intimate. I especially miss the stage on the Lido Deck. All the fun happens there.

Thanks for the video! We had been searching for videos on camp ocean to gain a better insight as to what is offered. So glad that you did this video, as we are taking our 3 littles next month and it’s all of our first cruise. Your room is only a few down from ours, so it was nice to see the double Pullman bed layout. Thanks for the informative video!

Yes there's something special and intimate about the smaller ships. I ate in that back area on my last cruise. It was quiet and I even saw a pier runner. Our Daughter loves Camp Ocean. Wow that is a lot of kids. Looking forward to seeing how you all fit in the cabin. See you later.

Fantastic video!

I took my husband on his first cruise aboard the Carnival Sunshine. He is spoiled now. He thinks the Elation, doesn't offer the same bells and whistles. I advised him he would love the Fantasy Class ships regardless. It may not be a mega ship, but gives great a cruise experience.

I've only ever sailed on the Elation so I didn't know it was small

I’ll be going on this cruise ship April 3 I’m so excited this will be my second cruise

I’ve been on 13 Carnival cruises and have never had a Blue Iguana burrito. I’ve had the tacos. I also like and prefer the old school atriums. Looking forward to Pt. 2.

You have to try a breakfast burrito!!! They are so good!! Jalapeño wrapper, Mexican style eggs, extra hash browns, ham or sausage, pico, onions, and cheese…and some salsa on the side 😋 Oh I could go for one now! Next Carnival cruise isn’t til May though!

We enjoyed watching your videos and showing all the stuff on it. We are going to be on the Elation in August for our 2nd anniversary. Plus it will be our very first cruise and we can't wait to go.

As far as I know I think carnival and Royal are the only 2 cruise lines that are sticking with the E muster

I'm in a Jr Suite for October, I can't wait!!!! and from Jacksonville. I keep trying to watch it leave everytime I am off. Also, how do we know where our muster drill will be??? Do they tell you at Check In??? This is my husbands first cruise and my first time booking for myself. I went on one 10 years ago but my friends dad did all the booking and I was along for the ride. I am P225, which is right side of ship (facing front) right by the Serenity Adults Lounge.

When you get on the ship they will tell you where your muster is. Your boarding pass will have the muster number on it and they will direct you from there. Have a great time!!!

That room is actually spacious. What mic do you use for your go pro? the quality is great!

Thanks. Actually this was my first time trying a mic…. And it didn’t work. I lost audio from the time we checked in until we got guys burgers. That’s why there were more voice overs than usual. I do have a media mod on my GoPro and that helps with the mic.

The fantasy class ships. Oldie but goodies. My first two cruises were on Imagination and Ecstasy. Lol at the boy’s faces when they got a massage. Can’t wait to see more!

FYI the Fantasy class were not the first ships for CCL. 4:23

I’m fully aware of the original Mardi Gras, Jubilee, Carnivale, and Holiday. Do you know which class they were in? I don’t believe they were actually in a “class”, but just stand alone ships. Fantasy is the first class- I never said it was one of the first ships- I said it’s one of Carnival’s older ships within the first class, Fantasy.

Had to catch the reply couldn’t stuck around last night but do you show the cabin with the beds down ?

As far as class and size how does thee elation compare to the sunshine and sunrise??

Elation is 2 classes below Sunshine. 70K tonnage compared to 102k tonnage of Sunshine. So Sunshine/Sunrise ships are alot bigger than Elation. You’ll also notice that Sunshine has a lot more balcony cabins than Elation.

No problem! Yes all of the food is included on this particular ship. Certain ships have specialty dining for an upcharge but not on this ship. The wifi ranges from about $12-18 per day per person depending on the speed/package you select! How much is parking per day? We live in Jacksonville and going on Elation the end of November. We are thinking of doing an Uber if port parking is expensive. Also is faster to the fun worth it as far as check-in, etc.?

Parking is currently $17 per day thru JaxPort Authority. But always check online before cruising because sometimes it fluctuates slightly. Faster to the fun- I personally don’t think it’s worth it unless you see a new cruiser who wants to avoid a little bit of the wait time. It just gives you early embarkation (which you can select an early arrival appointment if you check in 2 weeks before your cruise right at midnight). It gives you priority tender shuttle (IF you visit a port that has a water taxi- Half Moon Cay, Princess Cay, Grand Cayman, Belize). You have a separate line at guest services (if you even need to visit there). And you can get off the ship early (but you can do this without faster to the fun if you carry off your own luggage). So if you aren’t familiar with some of these tricks, then it might be worth it, but me personally, I don’t think faster to the fun is worth it. I’ll be making a video on it soon because I get asked this question a lot. Enjoy your cruise!

That's an accessible cabin. That bathroom and shower are huge. Nothing standard about that.

The only things accessible about the cabin are the grab bars in the shower/restroom, the sink, and lower shelves in closet. It’s not a fully accessible cabin so it’s the same size as the regular cabins/restrooms. The fantasy class ships have larger restrooms than the other ships.

So only unsweetened tea ? No sweet tea

That is correct. No sweet tea 😏. And adding the sugar packets don’t help. I recommend packing the drink mixes you can add to your water bottle.
