lovely !!! i"m not indian (i"m israeli ) but i love your classical indian music .& your classical indian dance.u have beautiful culture .back to this performance .it sound to me as if DR jayanthy kumaresh do not play her instrument (saraswati veena ??) but she speak to it .as if she conducting very smooth & beautiful dialogue with her instrument.& the notes & the melody that she achieve ...it is divine .a masterpiece of musical art witch inspire you into a peaceful nirvana.long live india !

I strongly urged ALL production companies intending to shoot a carnatic concert to use this show as a template. It gives me esteem pleasure to utter the Director's name Nirmal Singh. The number of cameras used and placement of it were not futile. The cam operators wow, I suspect must have some music background know exactly when to pan and tilt or is it Nirmal feeding directions in operators earphones. During finale, keeping the 2 shot is so crucial in capturing the wordless communication between veena and mrdingam. The editing splendid and expertly paced. Sharp sound clariry. Thank you sound guys..adhering to simple sound fundamentals and common sense. My only suggestion is to have a camera dedicated to the audience. We, the viewers, can transpose the audiences enjoyment onto ourselves...the mystique of it all. I cannot tell you how much suffering and frustration I experienced sitting thru unmotivated and thoughtless concert programs. Now millions have watched this video and that's because of the professional technicians behind the scenes invisible hands. Lastly, no missteps here to disregard the supreme artists. The others here are already doing it and that's why we are all here

I was listening this jayanti kumresh's music from the time when I dont have any interest in any type classicals, i listen this music 25 to 30 times, I never downloaded it and keep it in my drive i know its insult of hard work you people doing...i m yet to develop taste in deep classical you guys please keep posting music like this...

Why would someone dislike this is beyond me. The music and production cant get better than this. In India, no body cares to come our with such rich production for classical live performances. Hats off to Darbar team. If not for them, its impossible to experience these performances.

Both the instruments are so perfectly tuned with each other. It seems as if there is just 1. And what great musical sense. She is weaving music out of thin air. Absolutely wonderful. God bless both the musicians.

This piece of music is my most favorite. So many many thanks for creating such a beautiful composition. Listening to this makes me thoroughly happy.

I find the sounds of Veena and flute more soothing than any other acoustic instrument. It opens your slumber senses. Carnatic music is awesome. South India is most underrated nation because unfortunately the world thinks South India is like North India. South India has given so many great things to the world. Carnatic music is one of them.
