Rookie of the Year 4x scoring leader 2x 50-40-90 club 6x All NBA first team 1x NBA MVP 2x Champ 2x FMVP 3x Gold Metalist (scoring leader) #10 points of all time Dude missed almost 2 season with a career ending injury and came back more elite. He’s done everything in my option but the casual fan wants a story and KDs career is undervalued bc they say he’s a snake. Lebron went through the same thing with the Heat. KD gonna have to win a ring with the Suns or go back to OKC and help them win a ring, fans want a story.

The GOAT conversation in basketball is a battle between the game and the marketing of the game. KD is a scoring machine- period. But playing in OKC with the players around him and a system that was constantly abandoned was not optimizing his talent. That's not his fault. Even when he was in Golden State and was approached about Pat Bev "stopping him," he addressed it by saying he was working in the flow of the offense...then came out and got 50! Machine and one of the purest scorers ever! You have to give him some props considering he scores a bunch from outside...just like MJ and Kobe are two guards who are tops all-time in scoring among big men. That shows how special they are.

Kd respects bron, kobe, mj and other dudes that came before him.Things get ugly when you start putting a 6'3 dude ahead of him in all time list becos of team achievement lol . Levron vs KD have faced each other three times in the NBA Finals, with Durant leading 2-1. KD won two NBA Finals series as a member of the Golden State Warriors, while James won his lone series over Durant in the 2012 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and OKC Thunder.Durant and James played 14 times in the NBA Finals, with KD winning nine times. The Warriors, with KD, are 8-1 against LeBron. As for their own performances in the regular season, Kevin Durant and LeBron James are almost equal in terms of scoring average. KD is the better scorer and shooter, but James is the better passer, rebounder and defender

It's not KD's job/responsibility/obligation to make the league more "competitive." He had an opportunity in front of him to get the things he wants in life, and that's what EVERY MAN should do. When you pass on opportunities because of the wrong reasons (e.g., peer pressure, public opinion, etc.), then you're giving away the limited amount of power/control you have to direct your life where you want it to go. In other words, you lose in the game of life.

We will forever debate it since what he did has impact on two other greats. So many scenarios and the fans are divided and the media knows it and will keep throwing it out there since it’s something we can always say what if. At the end of the day we all know the impact all three have on the game. We should debate on who had a better 3 like Bron KD Curry at any era at the same time. Put that up there but that doesn’t sale or generate revenue cause we are more focused on what we have witnessed. Curry and those 3 points and range is a whole new world of its own. Lebron for 21 years from the hype at such age has the biggest success history. KD just a whole different built scoring machine that nobody has ever seen before. Whatever base you support at the end still appreciate for them to be witnessed on the greatest stage in the biggest screens.

Aside from stats, skills, and accolades, being a GOAT should translate to winning in the NBA as the best player in a team. KD won 2 chips as the best player with the GSW. So he should be in the conversation. Those who argue that he only won because he joined a stacked GSW roster who was the champs before and had the best regular season record ever, probably has never been the best player in a team and won a chip.

@@H0VA MJ beat a injured lakers team, a bum suns team compared to all the teams lebron played and the jazz and super sonics were good all time teams but nothing compared to those bulls teams or the all time spurs or warriors. MJ didnt win a single playoff series without pippen while lebron took 2 bum cavs teams to the finals. if MJ had lebrons career path he maybe would be 5 for 8 at best in the finals because i cant defend the 2011 series and MJ prob wouldve won that but he wouldnt have made it to the finals in 2007 or 2018 and making the finals those years are worth more than the suns and lakers chip MJ has to me. MJ had one of the best coaches of all time, one of the best shooters of all time and a top 3 defensive player of all time with the best robin to a batman of all time. scottie pippen was in the mvp race when MJ left and the bulls were 1 win away from the finals, when lebron left the cavs and heat, both teams went to the worst teams in the league. yes they lost more than just lebron but everyone knows both teams wouldnt even make the playoffs or be a 1st round exit without bron. lebron is the better passer, rebounder, shoots a higher FG%, has done more with less and has played against the most competition out of any player in nba history. the league now is better in everyway from defensive schemes to offensive threats. thats not MJs fault but its how time works, things get better overtime as more things are learned and more resources are had. Lebron did more in a harder era vs harder competition for a longer period of time. MJ is a better pure scorer and has a better winning finals record and thats all. if you take into account context and look at everything as a totality and not inside boxes, it is very obvious lebron is the greatest player of all time when it comes to basketball and plays the game how it was meant to be played and better. switch their careers and lebron goes 6 for 6 easily as well and doesnt retire and goes onto win 8-9 straight. put MJ on lebrons teams and he realistically wins in 2011 but loses to the spurs both times and maybe even OKC and loses to the 73 win warriors so ill say he goes 3 for 8 in the finals not even making it in 2018 and 2007.
