Carlos, erst in diesem Jahr ist mir bewusst geworden, wie oft Du bei meinen Lieblingsliedern dabei warst! Schön!!
GRACIAS Carlos for helping us HEAL
Whichever year this was made, it was "song of the year." What a band! Santana on lead guitar. LJH singing. Some cool Caribbean and (I think) African rhythms in the background.
blistering guitar work...sounding bluesier than in years.
Absolutely amazing. Love love love this song ❤❤❤
This is the best collaboration with Carlos
Only saw Santana and John once each and grateful 🙏
Carlos's hands so fast on this number blows you away but so soulful the best
SOB. I heard this song on a plane over twenty years ago and I haven't heard it since. Now, I'm in my favorite bar and what song plays on the jukebox twenty years later....you guessed it. God has a sense of humor.
What a pair! This rocks! They should have recorded more together. Perfect together.
One of my favourite songs ❤
The most beautiful combination of voice and guitar
I love John Lee Hooker's moves, he was the last of a kind :-(

The awesome part in this is that most blues musicians play by ear and the lyrics just come natural.

Was at an Outdoor concert in Maryland when this came out. My daughter was 1 + yrs old, when John Lee came on she went nuts and made me go to the front. Everyone let me cut right through. She's music through and through and teaches private lessons in many instruments now lol.
